==That (in bold) is true. After all the folks who founded Jamestown were Anglicans, the men who settled Plymouth were Separatists, as was the founder of Rhode Island, and the Massachusetts Bay founders were Puritan. All Christians with Christian world views. The Revolutionary generation had many Christian men as well. Some were true Christians while others were only social Christians. But clearly most of them held to Biblical principles and formed the nation with those in mind. However that does NOT make America a Christian nation. Why? Because Biblically there is no such thing.

Well first I would never marry OBAMA!!! ROFL.....

Second, if someone was that close to Obama they would have a better chance of knowing.. LIke I am 99.99999999999999999% sure my wife is saved. Because I know soooooooooooooooo much about her.

But from where I am, and only knowing what the media and others feed us, it is hard to know for sure...

Like I posted earlier from everything I have seen and heard from him.. I don't believe he is saved... He was taught a false doctrine on how to get to Heaven (Liberation theology).. He has a false view of sin... his fondness of evil doctrines (Pro abortion, pro homosexuality, etc) all point to a sad fact that he is not saved....

BUT.. and it's a big BUT! (NO JOKES Rbell!!!!!!!!!!!!)

    BUT.. I am not God.

It's foolish to argue with a one liner bullies who breaks from the topic and in the absence of any sensible arguements or facts, substitutes for lack of or lazy intelligence, attacks on others discussing the topic. That said:

I remember the accusations and questions regarding George W. Bush, when in a speech and then when questioned, he hedged and said to the effect that Jew, Muslims, and Christians all worship the same God. But several times during his Presidency, when he was pushed regarding his faith, clearly stated that he believed the way, at least for him, was through Jesus Christ, and while he wasn't ready to condemn others who believe otherwise, he considered this was Biblically correct and that God is the judge...not him, fortunately. Once, in a statement to the question he said Jesus said I am the way. Possibly no President in recent years made as near a public Christian profession as GWB..... yet some here questioned his Christianity.

Barrack Hussein Obama makes a statement, when pressed regarding his Christianity, that he is Hindu, and Bhuddist, Islam and Christian and views all from a Christian perspective.

Sad........ Why can't our leaders openly confess their Christianity or if they feel incompetent to answer the question (perhaps for the divisive nature of the question to target someone who in his role of office represents all the people within the country not just a particular creed) just make that simple confession that Jesus said he is the way the truth and the life, and leave the authority with the Lord.

Obama's answer did not have any certainty on which I could hang a hat if necessary to do so.

Personally, I believe the scripture which says, train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it: If this is true of Obama, then his foundational religion to the age of 8 was basicallly Islam, and, I think, when living with his grandparents..... very little exposure or support which was Christian. I think they were socialist if not communist, and agnostics if not atheist. I think the man has made an attempt to integrate all of these beliefs and is in denial regarding the conflicts rather than making a decisive determination of what religion he believes. As far as conflicts over socialism vs republicanism.... the man is decidedly a socialist ........and this is consistant with his foundation. Personally, I think any loyalty to Christ and the Bible and the Christian community hangs by a thread.... if even that exists.

Question... If Obama believes the Lord Jesus Christ died for his sins, is he saved?

So the truth is none of us really knows what's in his or others heart. However, if he has faith he is saved. If no one wants to acknowledge his salvation Jesus said he would not be ashamed to own him before the Father.

This guy obviously confuses bad teaching with faith.

Whether he's saved or not is God's business not ours.

Should we follow him as a Christian who knows the Lord just because of his claim? I think we need to be careful of following any man, whether he's Christian or not..... We should follow Jesus Christ who is the Lord.

When a person claims to be a Christian, but they acknowledge that they considered themselves of multi-religious 'faiths' then I have my Biblically based doubts regarding that they are truthful in representing themselves when they call themselves a Christian. Jesus said "I am the way the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father but by me." He also said no man can serve two masters.

Mr Obama is a mere man. What he follows is what he believes. I don't see Christ in him. My perception doesn't keep him from being a Christian.... but that business is God's doing, not mine.

Many people join churches and call themselves Christians...... and later come to conviction by the Holy Spirit that they were not and make a new confession of faith. So if we are to believe them...... we must realize that some people in sincerity identify with Christians and the church, but have not come to the cross by faith. Many are in their own way sincere; sincerely wrong; and sincerely lost until faith is added to their confession. Confession without conviction is worthless.

This is simply not true. It is the churches business:

This passage is speaking both about those who teach false teachings and the fact that they are lost. The church is to recognize those who are lost but pretend to be a child of God. By their fruits you shall know them.

Satan knows & believes that Christ died for our sins too. Does that mean that he is saved?

I was just simply pointing out that anyone can "believe" that Christ died for their sins. To be saved requires action, which is accepting Christ as your Saviour & repenting of your sins.

Satan believes that Christ died for our sins, but he is not a follower of Christ & therefore will burn in the Lake of Fire.

"Bout time you showed up.

Agreed with all you say. I don't see Obama as a teacher...... but I suppose that he is or is to some. I see him take scripture and use it as commonly as do many in politics...... they all use the same general, often brief and familiar, and often out of context, scriptures to make a point. Those who don't know anything about the Bible don't recognixe it unless they cloak it in "as the scripture says"........ and then the Christians who know little of the Bible through study, only what they hear..... often make assumptions about applications.

I still believe that when a person says he's a Christian, it is our business to discern and to instruct others correctly and rebuke those who folllow not after the truth or tell lies, but declaring whether another is saved or lost is God's business not ours.
