Why Was Christ Born in BCE 3 or BCE 2?

Deacon, Thanks Rob for your thoughts. Here are my findings:

The Hebrew calendar always comes into sync with the Gregorian Calendar every 19 years with the periodic insertion of seven 30-day months! So there were 25x19 (475 years) sets of insertions from Tishri 1, New Year's day of BC 445 to New Year's day of AD 31 (Date of Christ’s birth)!! One more year was needed to complete 69 sets of Biblical Sevens in 68x7 sets of Solar Sevens (476 years)!!!

That extra year was made up by about 150 days from Nisan 14 of 445 BC to Tishri 1 of that year! Plus about 215 days (for a total of 365 days) from Tishri 1 of AD 31 to Nisan 14 of AD 32 (Date of Christ’s death)!! Tishri 1 was the date of Christ's birth as presented each year in 600 planetariums around the globe!!! See Dr. Ernest L. Martin: www.askelm.com.

However, the 68 sets of solar sevens ended 21 days short of Nisan 30 to force fulfillment of the prophecy on the exact date of Palm Sunday, Nisan 9! The Jewish leaders could have known the prophecy of Daniel 9:26a (first of 3 parts of that verse in which Christ was to be cut off “after” 68 sets of Solar Sevens) was fulfilled on "that very day"...as lamented by Jesus in Luke 19:42!! He had to be crucified five days "after" that on Nisan 14 to fulfill Dan.9:26a and be "cut off"!!! (See Biblical Month at www.lastday.net).

Jesus' 33rd birthday was about 7 months before Nisan 14! The 68 Sevens on a Solar (Gregorian) Calendar (445-1=444+32 =476 % 7=68), by being overlaid on successive sets of 84 thirty-day months (360x7), provided 69 sets of 2520 days!! That is the essence of 69 sets of 7-Year Biblical cycles patterned above based on 68 sets of Solar cycles from 445 BC to 32 AD!!!

Only on the basis of 360-day cycles was it possible to observe Passover on the same day of the week and in the Spring once every 7 years! AND also to begin the Civil New Year on Tishri 1 in the Fall during the New Moon once every 7 years!! AND also to keep the Feast of Tabernacles about two weeks later on Tishri 14 or 15 once every 7 years!!!

There is no way to fulfill Passover or any of these anniversary dates on the same week-day every 7 years … except by a countdown of successive days on a 360-day Calendar! (I discovered this in October of 1996)! In His wisdom, God divined the 70 sets of Seven to determine in advance the exact day on which Christ was hailed as King of the Jews to fulfill Zech.9:9 on Palm Sunday and Dan.9:26a five days later!! Palm Sunday was the last day allowed by 68 Solar sets of Seven so that Messiah was “cut off” five days later, Nisan 14; again, the only day on which Passover fell on a Friday for the 69th time!!!

If the Decree of Neh.2:1 occurred in BC 444 instead of 445, the 68th Seven would have ended in AD 33 and Jesus would have been born in BC 1 instead of BC 2 on the Hebrew calendar! (See God’s Timing at www.lastday.net). On a Gregorian Calendar, exactly 173,859 days (476 x 365.25) separated Nisan 30, BC 445 and Nisan 9, AD 32!! On a Prophetic Calendar, the 173,880th day (483 x 360) from BC 445 to the 69th Anniversary of the Decree to rebuild Jerusalem’s walls was Nisan 30!!!

Three weeks separated Nisan 9 and Nisan 30! The 69th Passover for Christ’s death on Nisan 14 had to be a Friday in order for the 69th Anniversary date of the original decree to occur on Nisan 30!! This is our proof that Christ died on Friday rather than a Wednesday or a Thursday!!!

Why was Christ born in BCE 3 or BCE 2?

    Friends,

King Herod asked the Magi when the Messiah should be born. They knew a
Jewish King, like the Priests, would probably assume His role at age of 30.
They knew from Daniel’s Prophecy that there had been 444 years on a solar Calendar from BCE 445 to what became BCE 1 (445-1=444). Neh.2:1. The Jan.9 eclipse of year one, which began the Common Era, was the year Christ would have been 16 months as His birth was on Sep.11 in what became BCE 2 (before Common Era) on a Hebrew Calendar; or BCE 3 of the Christian Era.

The Magi knew Egyptians (and Daniel) used two Calendars, i.e., the solar year based on 365.25 days and one based on 360 days. Daniel's prophecy required that 483 (360-day) years be fulfilled in 476 solar-based years! As of the fall of BCE 1, instead of being 444 years on a solar basis, it had been 450.5 (360-day) years with another 32 solar years or 32.5 (360-day) years remaining to make up 476 solar years (68 sets of seven) or 483 years (69 sets of seven) on a 360-day calendar.

This calculation is the only way by which the Magi knew about 30 years remained when Jesus should become "King of the Jews"...the one question they verbalized when they met Herod. They met before Jan.9 of the first year of the Common Era, date of the solar eclipse near the time of Herod's death, when Jesus was 16 months of age. In the fall of year 29 of the Common Era, Jesus would be about 30.
    Proof:
444x365¼ divided by 360=450.5 years; 29x365¼ divided by 360=29.5; 450.5+29.5=480! The Magi did not know the King would be "cut off" three years later!! We now know 476x365¼ day solar years, divided by 360-day Biblical years = 69 sets of seven (7+62) or 483 years to fulfill Dan.9:25!!!

We don't know how it was revealed to the Magi about Bethlehem's Star, but we know what they knew from Daniel's prophecy about the time for Messiah's birth!! The only years during the life of Jesus in which Passover fell on Nisan 14, a Friday, were CE 4,11,18,25 and 32 so that He died at age 33½ in year 32 of the Common Era!!!
