Why wasn't Obama nominated?

    I was watching the news this morning and they were giving the nominies and winners of the Oscar awards. I thought for sure I would have seen Obama there for best actor. Maybe it is because he wasn't far enough into his fairytale yet. If he keeps on going the way he has begun he is a dead winner for next seasons awards.

    Now where oh where is that "CHANGE" he kept speaking about! Maybe he meant the 13 dollars per week, that is some change :laugh:

    Seriously though, I did enjoy Reagan on Death Valley Days after the Old Ranger left the show. And he did a great job starring with Ginger Rogers and a very young Doris Day in the excellent movie, Storm Warning. Highly recommended viewing, expecially if you are a fan of film-noir.

    True now, but not always true. Even when Reagan was an actor he was never nominated for an Oscar.

    Ronald Reagan was a great actor and a wonderful president. This gives me hope for Obama... although I'm not seeing it yet.

    Some things Reagan did as POTUS worked out great. Some, not so much. It will be the same with Obama.

    Yea, I agree. I remember watching Reagan in some of those old shows.

    I know Reagan made a better actor than he did president, and he was a B-rated actor! :laugh:

    He did a better job on that TV series than he did as president. Of course in both cases he was just acting out his part. He had a great line to say when he said "Mr. Gorbachev tear down this wall." He almost seemed to be a real p[resident.
