The more one sees of moves by this administration the more we see how far removed it is. Don't enforce our laws which are on the books that they don't like, no matter what the people or the law says, it is their way or the highway.

Yes, it must be Obama's fault that this officer was killed in 2006, when Bush was president.

Of course you know that when the officer was killed my an illegal immigrant is not the point.

The point is the poor judgement in the choice for the appointment.

Do you think that appointing someone to such a high position in ICE who refuses to enforce immigration laws is a good decision?

Didn't say that, learn to read a little better. But the police chief that the widow of the officer is going after has been given an ICE appointment, by this administration. He wasn't for going after the ilegales, but giving them a safe haven in Houston. Her husband was killed by an illegal that Houston was a safe haven for or at lease neutral place.

I would like to know if this was the police chief's decision or the mayor of Houston's decision concerning police policy. Also, there are many cities where the federal immigration laws are ignored. If this were not true, then Arizona would not need to pass a law that mirrors the current federal statute.

    From the OP article...
"As a police chief, Hurtt was a supporter of "sanctuary city" policies..."

Still pretending not to get it huh?

He is the one being put in the ICE position.

Other people in other cities are not - so they are not relevant to the discussion.
