Now back to the OP, the Dems, as a group, may take the talking point that we need to leave, but we aren't leaving that area for a long time. Like I said, Hillary worked very hard to make sure this war would happen.

No, you interpreted her position twice. All dems and some pubs have said they had no intentions of ever authorizing this kind of disaster. My quote from her site is official and verbatim, minus interpretation and speculation.

What is factually inaccurate about that ? She has claimed to have done her own research, and consulted her own experts, so much so that she apparently didn't need to read the intlligence reports given to her, she deicated several speeches to the dangers of leaving Sadaam in power, she cheered this war on from the mid-90s, like everyone else did. She worked hard to get this war on.

And I hope you don't think her stated position on any issue is what she has planned. She & her husband are proven liars.

But all that aside, she won't leave Iraq when she gets in the White House.

 

I agree, Bro. Curtis, that she and her husband are proven liars. But I'm not sure she could lie about this and get away with it. Momentum is her friend. For what it's worth, Limbaugh *and your* assertion may be true. I hope not, but who's to say?

 

The biggest reason liberals hate him, besides his huge audience, is that he is deadly accurate at predicting what they will do.

 

I regularly chat on liberal message boards (being lbtn I can see both sides sometimes) and I routinely hear that cons hate Moore. I always defend the cons. It's odd, but at times both sides do seem to have martyr syndrome. Operative word being: seem. Personally, I have never suspected anyone I "know" online as hating. But I don't suspect either side will ever believe that. Nor do I suspect either side will ever offer anything other than their opinions canonized into sacred writ to prove the "hatred." (Move over God and make way for the prophets of infallible, psychoanalysis.) The pity parties go on because evidently they must...

I do not see Rush Limbaugh in a liberal conservative mindset. Although he does talk (and talk and talk) about conservative causes, the mindset he must be viewed in is self worship verses humility and loving your neighbor.

I thought the article would give way to discussing what might be a political response. But then again, politics being what they are, I already know what the responses will be and so does everyone else.

 

I really don't like contracting out security services that our military is more than capable of providing in a war zone.

OK, I will take the Democrats at their word. I believe that they will pull the troops out of Iraq the very day that Bush leaves the White House. I use Korea and Viet Nam as examples of withdrawals before victories and I think that the majority of Americans would accept an end to the war if they were going to elect a Democrat next year.

If Ron Paul were elected, I think that he would withdraw the troops right away, also.
