I keep asking a question and nobody from the KJVO crowd seems to want to answer.

Which, specifically, KJV Version is the "inerrant & inspired" version. The 1611, the 1769 or any version in between of thereafter?

Please, someone from the KJVO group tell me which?

Don't say "all", we won't buy it because there ARE differences. Would SOMEBODY please answer this question without launching into an unrelated long-winded diatribe? I'm asking nicely here, please answer?

Don't hold your breath, Phillip. Unless you are really lucky, you will get one who will rant and rave and say everything...but not answer your question. They can't, they know it, so they avoid it.

And it is a shame, really, that someone would prefer ignorance of the truth to actually looking into the riches we have before us in the many good translations out there.

    In Christ,
    Trotter

You all have so many double standards that even Billary Clinton would be envious.

Won't accept the same answer you offer? What a joke. You all just keep showing how false and faulty the mv view is. Mv "defenders"? Naw, more like pretenders.

Then simply answer the question please?

You are pulling the Bill Clinton stuff, by talking all around the issue and telling us all about ourselves. Did you Inhale or NOT, Billy? [IMG]

You and Keith are right, as referenced by the post above. :D

The one thing that really scares me is; somebody who calls the "Word of God" as "evil", "demonic" or "polluted", etc. is walking on awfully thin ice, in my book.

One admitted that "you can get saved by it, but it is inferior." Is that a good definition of an oxymoron? Maybe you only get to go to the basement in heaven. I guess your salvation would be inferior, too, hmmmmmmmmm.

nah, I'm gonna be like you all for awhile and watch how much you all hate having your games played right back on you.

I actually find this to be fun because it helps you all expose the total fallacy of your demonic view.

I'd much rather be on thin ice and not stuck in the sinking sand like many in here.

Jim, when have I EVER --- "NOT" answered one of your questions? Show me a post.

It is very possible that you made a post I did not see. If you have questions for me. Ask them right here and I will answer you as quickly and accurately as I possibly can. This is not a game. If you can provide me with some answers, then I might consider your position. I have yet to see them. Now, if they are here on the BB, then point the way to them. I have not yet found them. I cannot learn if I do not ask. So, I am asking. [IMG]

"your demonic view"? Statements like this are pervasive amongst KJVO's. Is it any wonder why they do not reach but repel? See Matthew 12:34b

Thou shalt worship the KJV, and it alone shalt thou read. This is found in 1 James 1:1 :D

Okay. It will never be answered because it cannot be answered.

But the "demonic" quip is way beyond the pale. Jim is asking to be suspended for continuing (after repeated requests) to watch his abusive language.

Maybe by being suspended he can be a "martyr" to the wicked Moderator who holds a "demonic" view and not HAVE to answer the question.

Unless a KJVo has an answer, there is no need to use this thread just to poke fun at a failed theological hiccup.

I was just wondering if anybody caught my post above about "Hezekiah". I actually heard an evangelist say that in a sermon. I don't know if he actually made a mistake or was simply trying to see if people were awake. I thought it was funny though. It was surprising how many people did not even realize what he said. It IS quite interesting that the KJVO crowd has not developed a solution for this paradox.

I would suggest if they keep their viewpoint that they might want to come up with an answer for this question, because I think all MVers are going to ask the same question.

Now that you are finished with your emotional appeal how about some facts? Or are you just one big hit and run accident?

Why should they bother coming up with an answer? I mean, the way they skate around an issue while telling you that you are the one in the wrong, who needs to actually have answers?

If the KJVOs actually HAD any answers-any legitimate evidence AT ALL for their myth, one would think that they'd rush to publicize it. However, all we see is spin such as Jim W. has posted here.

If you've read the posts of Jim & others who claim to be KJVO when they speak of other matters, you've seen that he & most of the others aren't stupid at all, but they DO follow a not-too-bright logic by advocating a doctrine for which they can find no evidence to support it, kinda like a child who refuses to abandon his secutity blanket.

I think many "professing KJVOs" don't really believe that myth & argue for the sake of argument, drawing some kind of weird satisfaction from reading or hearing their own arguments refuted. They're not so dense that they cannot see their KJVO myth has no merit, but most of'em just cannot make themselves give it up.

At the risk of being accused of going "postal", I'm going to say this one more time...the Bible I've based my whole life on came from another Bible that was right, which came from another one, which came from yet another one, etc..."like begats like".

We never called it the King James---just the Holy Bible. Everything our country was founded on was with that Bible. Everything the Lord wants us to know is in that Bible.

Now you all ask some of the most impossible questions...just like these 'apostolics/oneness-Jesus only' folks in my area. They say "prove there is a 'trinity'; it's not in the Bible". I don't use that word with them, and I've tried to explain & show where the one true God is also the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost(which is in there.) But to no avail.

There's other things NOT mentioned in the Bible specifically, but I KNOW it's in there, & I accept it BY FAITH. Many good strong knowledgeable men(& women) have been banned or chased off who HAVE tried to show you all...but you just mock & make fun of them or call them names, etc, so I think y'all don't want to know the truth, but enjoy the thrill of agitating.

It don't bother me one way or the other...I'll always be the way I am & I'm thankful for that. Having a 'straight stick' & on the right path has helped me in more ways than I could ever write here...not that anyone cares.

I read y'all's smart-alecky posts & the ones from those who uses the Bible only, & there's no comparison. They've got class & decency & they don't have an 'attitude'. One day you will all see the error of your ways, but then it really won't matter anymore.
