That Obama was elected president is because of the effort of George Soros and a like minded group of wealthy leftists. I am not much on “conspiracy theorys”. SN and poncho deal with those on this Forum. However, in the case of Obama and his backers I believe that “Something Evil This Way Comes”.

    http://swordattheready.wordpress.com/2009/02/17/something-wicked-this-way-comes/

Obama, the Marxist financiers of his campaign, and the Marxist mob with which he has surrounded himself intend to drive this country into bankruprcy. Obama has already stated that the country is broke but he continues his spending spree, doubling the deficit in one year. It is estimated that over the next 10 years up to 40% of every dollar spent will have to be borrowed and the deficit will be increased by $9 trillion dollars. Their purpose is that a Marxist nation rise out of that ash heap of bankruptcy they will have created. This they will do unless the citizens become engaged as they are in the tea parties and the town hall meetings over the extravagance of the Obama administration, Obama’s takeover of certain industries and financial institutions, and Obama’s attempt to seize the medical care industry.

During the campaign Obama talked about a “civilian national security force” as strong as the Military. What part does this proposed “civilian national security force” play in Obama’s plan?

    http://www.wnd.com/index.php?pageId=69601

Certainly a cadre of 35+ czars is a long way from a “civilian national security force” as strong as the Military but it is a start. However, recall that Obama’s career has been essentally that of a street organizer. He was an avid pupil taught by Sol Alinsky. A question of interest: Just how big are ACORN and the SEIU and where do their loyalities lie? Will they become his “civilian national security force”?

John McCain in his recent town hall meeting talked about a peacful revolution because of Obamacare. It is my belief that a revolution will occur as the Obama agenda proceeds Hopefully it will be peaceful, the Obama administration will implode, and the PHOENIX, the Constitutional Republic our Founders gave us, will rise out of the ashes. However, unless Americans stand now against Obama and his Marxist cabal the next generation will live in a Marxist nation ruled by Obama type elites.

The Phoenix is a mythical bird of great beauty, the one and only of its kind, fabled to live 500 or 600 years in the Arabian wilderness, to burn itself on a funeral pyre, and to rise from the ashes in the freshness of youth.

This Constitutional Republic, unique in world history, has existed for little more than 200 years. It has been a world power for just over 60 years and now stands in mortal danger of destruction by the leftist administration of Obama, a compliant liberal/left democrat Congress, and the unknown financial backers of Obama.

Hopefully and prayerfully the Phoenix, this Constitutional Republic of great beauty, the one and only of its kind, will rise out of the ashes of the Obama administration.

Actually it's rising right now out of the ashes of the Bush administration. He bankrupt our nation, started two wars that he never could exactly justify, took away constitutional rights like habeaus corpus, tortured his enemies and alienated almost all our allies. The whole world hate America because of his actions. I must have forgotten a lot but these are just examples of the tremendous damage Bush and the NeoCONS did to America.

Obama has spent more in his short time as president than Bush spent in 8 years. I don't see how he has bankrupted us. The truth is our children & our grand children are going to paying for this down the road.

You also indicated two wars that he started. Bush didn't start any wars. The terrorists started the wars by attacking us. While I don't 100% agree on everything that Bush has done, I feel that something had to be done. What would you have done? The problem is he didn't declare war on Islam. Instead he chose terrorism. Terrorists come in all shapes, sizes, ethnicities, & colors, but Islamic people are the ones known for strapping a bomb to themsleves & blowing things up.

I personally didn't vote for Bush because I felt like our nation could have done better. I also believe that we could have done much worse. If Al Gore had been president, he would have just wanted to talk things out rather than act. When someone attacks you, the time for talking is over with. When that happens its time to defend & attack.

This thread is not for you to repeat your litany of lies about President Bush. It is for discussing the conspiracy of Obama and his cohorts to bankrupt the United States with the goal of a Marxist state. You may not believe that to be true, Fine. Give your reasons but if you just want to bash President Bush then start your own thread. Don't try to hijack this thread as you do so many.

The terrorism probably started when the Brits imposed their empire on the Arab lands around WW1. Most of the African wars can be attributed to the Brits messing with tribal law and tradition. For example the partition of India in 1947.

The only difference between "terrorist" and "patriot" is who wins the war. No outsider has EVER won a war in Afghanistan.

What you say has nothing to do with the OP! My concern is will the Republic survive Obama?

But to respond to the OP, the Republic collapsed with Lincoln's War and has never risen.

Lets just simply stick to the OP without everyone trying to derail it.

Those who don't want to contribute don't. If no one does the thread will die.

Wow! He did all of that apart from the other two branches of government? Amazing! How, I might ask?

The more we learn about the change that Obama promised the more we realize that is not what most people understand. There were a few who recognized that the associates of Obama were Socialists/Marxists and that his backers like Soros were radical leftists. That truth was pointed out on this Forum. Unfortunately John McCain handed the election to Obama by refusing to point out this man's political philosophy.

It is my hope that his stand on Cap and Tax, and the government takeover of health care will wake up America before it is too late.

It is sad that his backers on this Forum continue to blindly follow this pied piper of atheistic Marxism.

If the government takes over medical care in this country they will not just control 16-17% of the economy. They will have a stranglehold on the lives of all the people, able to control who lives and who dies. We already know that Obama is a rabid abortionist so have no doubt that this person is capable of using or refusing healthcare to accomplish his goals. Can anyone imagine the "Racist Communist Green Czar Jones" made the health care Czar. A real chance to stick it to them "honkies".

Obama was elected out of the ashes of the disaster of the Bush administration. Anyone with any elementary knowledge of the history of the Mid-East would have known better than to invade Iraq. I said it was a stupid idea before the invasion. I said it was a stupid idea during the invasion. And the events in Iraq have proved me right.

The Republicans have only themselves to blame. They were elected and made a contract with America ... which they broke. They won by emphasizing family values ... and we know how that has gone.

Bush and his party have been the party of disaster after disaster. Now the Republicans are mad and going crazy because someone is trying to clean up the mess. Whether he is doing it right or wrong history will judge. We know that the Republicans did it wrong.

They already have taken it over. You can not opt out of Medicare. Your hospital and doctor cannot opt of of the HIPPA regulations. Our health care system operates under the laws imposed by the government. So, the idea that the government is going to take over they health care system is false. They already have. The problem is that the government bowed to the big drug companies and insurance companies and have created a holy mess for many people. Far too many people are uninsured. There is no excuse for this. A country that can spend a billion a week on killing people should be able to spend enough to give everyone good health care.

BO won because the Republican Party* put up a Liberal RINO.

    Salty

    * also, how many State or Commonwealth delegates were elected by Democrats who voted in Republican primaries.

A party should have the right to only allow registered party members to vote in a primary.

BTW, I am not saying that BO was not legally elected - he was, I am just saying the system is wrong and needs to be fixed. Thank goodness, NY has a closed primiary !

In the state I live you can vote only in the primary of the party you are registered with. No cross-over voting. Illegal!

You are wrong. They have only taken over healthcare for the elderly. This was one of the results of creeping socialism since the days of FDR. Medicare like Social Security like the Federal Government is on the verge of bankruptcy.

Medicare is a vivid demonstration of the government dictatorial control of any program with which it is involved. Doctors and hospitals are not adequately reimbursed for their services yet it is a crime for any patient to pay the doctor and a crime for the doctor to accept such reimbursement. As Obama further cuts the reimbursement to medical doctors, particularly cardiologists and oncologists, more older people will die early. That is called rationing.

I for one opposed Medicare when it was introduced. I still oppose it but can do nothing about it. The medical care I was promised as a part of my retirement package was replaced by Medicare. You correctly state: "You can not opt out of Medicare."
