If the New World Order/Satanic U.N. is now ruling the world, and force you to renounce your Christianity, force you to receive the mark of the beast (whatever that is!), force you to surrender your guns (and NRA membership!), force you to worship Satan (or else face execution), what are you gonna do?

    1. Are you just gonna pray about it and ask for protection? Or...
    2. Are you gonna really resist as in "over my dead body" and head for the boondocks with your guns (ala like the Jews in Masada)?

    Hi Robert,

I would definitely go on he run, just like Paul and his followers were forced to do.

Unfortunately, I do not know any survival skills. My cub scout/boy scout leader never showed up when I was young...lol.

Who here can say what they would do when faced with that choice. In reality it is a moot point in that I will have "Met the Lord in the air." before any of it comes to pass.

If my doctrinal stand is correct, that day will not come for me. I'll be with The Lord in the air...but I believe those that are God's will be able to withstand, even to the point of martyrdom.

But guys, let's just assume for the moment that Christ will not rapture us out of the great tribulation (is it hard to do?), and we suddenly find ourselves really in the midst of trouble, what would you really do?

Perhaps it's time to bury some rifles and ammo in a safe place, so your FBI won't find them. [IMG]

The change will come so subtlely, Robert, that most of us will never know it's even happening.

It'll come slowly, gradually, bit by bit.

We'll learn to laugh at the things that we used to get righteously angry about--say, for example, on sitcoms and such. Once you start laughing about stuff that's not right, it becomes "acceptable," and ultimately "right".

We'll be taught to let fear run our lives. With fear as the driving force, we'll easily allow things that not long ago, we ardently said would never happen. For example, personal locator devices, like watches or GPS-enabled pagers. Or even implants, used initially in the military to help identify soldiers whose bodies are not all in one piece. Why, the first time such a device helps to save a kidnapped child, everyone will be running to get one for their child.

We'll be taught to allow everyone their own personal freedoms; i.e., religious tolerance. We'll be told that we can't call sin what it is--sin--because we'll be impinging on the personal beliefs and freedoms of others.

Yeah, Robert, it'll happen slowly and subtlely...so we all need to watch, and guard against the day that we realize it's starting....

Remember what Jesus said to Peter after his sword play? Jesus made it clear that force of arms would not establish his kingdom. ;)

Now a couple of weapons to protect the family that's another question. Me, I joined the NRA to keep the second amendment in the constitution. :D

I won't be here to receive the mark, so that won't be an issue.

But if ordered to come worship Satan and renounce my Christianity or else face death, I'd like to think I'd choose death. Whether death by execution or death by resistance, I don't know. I suppose it would depend on the circumstances. If they were coming to my house now and I knew it, I'd probably choose to go out shooting.

Don't we all like to think we'd make the honourable choice? I do. However, as a mother of 5 children, the youngest of which is 7, that would be a big factor in my decision. I'm not saying I'd bow down to a false god or anything of that nature, but I'd be very tempted to "run for cover", so to speak.

Do you want to know my biggest concern? That they would kill me or put me in jail, then take my children and indoctrinate them with their heresy. Maybe not so much the older ones, but most especially for the younger ones would I be concerned. Separation from my children is a bigger concern for me than dying for my faith.

Do y'all ever think of that?

It seems that a popular response, in the USA, is “I don’t have to concern myself with that, I’m a pre triber”. I honestly haven’t given the Rapture a lot of study but I do sort of lean that way.

What concerns me is the complacency displayed in the US. It’s like we think that God put up an invisible force field around us while other Christians all over the world are being faced with persecution, torture and even death for the faith, at the hands of Muslim “Evangelists”, Communists etc. while we dwell in safety in a wicked land. Sure we have a church on every corner but we murder something like 4000 unborn babies a day. Who else, in the world, kills 4000 a day? If you want to live a perverted lifestyle as a Homo, the good old United States if the place for you.

If you are not resisting the antichrist now, why would you think you would resist The Anti Christ in the future?

I heard something about a women (I think her name was Mary) in the 1800's (I'm not sure of the date, sorry) who had a "vision" from God about the Rapture. Her vision, having impressed the leaders of her denomination, was subsequently made doctrine by them. Until that point the idea of a "Rapture" was unknown in the Christian Church. Does anybody know more about this?

2 Timothy 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

From the posts by those who claim to be Christians, and still want to enjoy all the pleasures of the world, the above verse explains why we have it so easy in America.

We just ain't living Godly!!!!! .....and please, please notice i said WE getting tired of being called self righteous, I am only a sinner saved by grace...not an ex-sinner but sinner!

Only when Christians give up their worldly pleasures and become a peculiar people, walking daily with Christ will we be counted worthy to suffer for him. Attending movies, smoking, social drinking, dancing and such is not walking with Christ. Wake up sleeping Christians, we aren't saved to live a life of ease, we are saved to be Christ's instruments. I myself fall far short so again get off the self righteous kick and look at your own life. Do you really measure up?

    What a statement to say...
Don't you think that God is in control of everything? Don't put your kids in front of your faith but instead put your faith in front of your kids...What happened to Abraham...he was to sacrifice Issac, for God to see that Abraham trusted in him 100% and that Issac was not first but God was first....think about that for awhile...words proceeded out of the mouth are very dangerous sometimes

first of all, AMEN Larry. Christains do not resist the antichrist now. In the future some will not either. It's those that do that will find grace with God. If it were so easy to do then everyone would be going to heaven. My Pastor preaches on the Rapture too. Personally I don't believe it. I do believe that the Christians are the ones who will fight for God in the end. There is nothing that Ive heard that proves there is such thing as Rapture. Am I scared? Yes. will I pray for prtection? yes. Will I fight for my Lord? YES... will I want to? NO. Did God want to give up his only son to save us? Probably not. Im a new Mother of a 4 month old and I fear losing him everyday. I can't imagine sacrafising him for any reason but especially for a group of people that spat on my name and hated me after I loved them and created them. It comes down to, how much we love God. I may eat these words one day. I hope Im not faced with this issue. But if I am I owe God my soul, and I would fight for him. In the end he will make our rewards in heaven great and we will feel no more pain, neither will our children. That makes it worth it to me. But I still am human and I hope God will spare me and especially my Son of this horrible scenario. God Bless all the fellow future ARMY OF GOD.
