    Just curious if anyone was part of the huge military exercise, Winter Sheild II in the winter of 1961? I was in A Company, 97th Signal providing communications for the 7th Army. The crew I worked with was stationed on Hill 676 near the Czech Boarder and it was as cold as I have ever experienced with about two and a half feet of snow. Was a fun time.

    1961 - Well that was at least a couple of years before my enlistment
