    With no link to the cited article, I can only assume it refers to the dead tree edition of the paper.

    It's not that the link didn't open. It only opened to a stub of the complete article. I couldn't find a way to see the May 26 issue of the Tri-County News. The only link I saw that would bring up the story is for the e-edition of the TCN at 35 dollars per year.
