I found this quote from Kerry in the debate Thursday:

    Huh?

What WMD's? Crossing what border? I thought Iraq didn't have any WMD's.

They apparently didn't. But the terrorists moving into Iraq now that we've destabilized it, very likely have.

    Then is not now.

Yeah, there was nothing as stable as the comforts of torture cells and rape rooms.

Yes, I agree. I'm not for sure what Kerry was tring to get at by calling terrorists WMD's.

So, are you saying that you don't think there are any WMD's in Iraq?

If there were no WMD's in Iraq, I am not surprised. People forget that Saddamm Hussein had tons of money and tons of other looney Muslim buddies in the middle east who were thrilled to store them for him. Does anyone remember the story about WMD's being found in a truck trying to get into Jordan a few months ago? Apparently the truck came from Libya and the weapons originated in Iraq. Oh I wish I had the link to post for you. My point is, how many months was it before we invaded Iraq? Nobody can tell me that the man didn't have time to hide or sell the WMD's that he had. We gave him ample time to save his butt.

Which border? If you mean the US's then, well, 9/11 was before the war in Iraq (but the beginning of the war against Afghanistan) and we not only let the terrorists in, we trained them to fly. Our southern and western borders are still largely unsecure.

If you mean Iraq's, rumor had it that Saddam keep his borders far more secure than the Coalition has.

He had tons of money, but very few buddies after his invasion of Kuwait. I seriously doubt that any of them would have returned a WMD to him.

Besides, what is the point of having them if you don't used them at the point when you're being overthrown?

Unfortunately, I don't remember. What kind of weapons, how did they know the origin, how did the coalition allow them to cross out of Iraq, was this American propaganda? A few months ago, the Americans had been in charge for a year.

What would be the advantage of hiding or selling them over using them?

It's simple. If Kerry is elected, he will follow pretty much the same policies as Bush. The "WMD" schtick worked well for Bush, so he might as well carry it forward.

Here is a question for you to think about...

According to the "Bush Doctrine", which countries ARE allowed to have WMD's?

    Which Direction???

The ones that DO have them, of course! North Korea, Iran, Pakistan, etc.
