    I think half of the video clip was spent trying to sell books and CDs. I've never heard of her before now and my first impression is that she's a huckster. Time will tell whether that impression is correct or not.

    God as Miracle Diet Aid? Where is that in Scripture?

    edit to add: all we have as "evidence" is a picture of a woman holding on a pair of jeans, and some guy talking about gold teeth.

    Find me an example of miracle weight losss and generation of gold teeth in Scripture. Just one.

    What I really liked was the "explosion of gold teeth... 1 mouth, 12 gold crowns"

    Isn't this also a bit too easy? Did Jesus ever heal a person with aids in the bible?
    No. I cannot find the word aids in the bible. Then I guess God will never heal a person with aids. :rolleyes:

    Hmmmm. People weren't overweight in Scripture. People all had good teeth in Biblical times.

    I don't think God takes away our responsability for sin.
    All it takes is a little discerning to see what is biblical and what isn't, and this one I highly doubt. God doesn't do tricks for us.

    She didn't lose 45 pounds in one church service. Unless the service was 6 months long.

    I think it's really fascinating that you want to know that this didn't happen.
    And it's simply based on what you think God would do and what not.
    Maybe this woman needed to lose weight and didn't know how or maybe she was depressed because she was too fat, who knows?

    As one who has struggled with weight all my life and also have tried to live a life pleasing to the Lord, its just hard to swallow that this would happen. God has helped me tremendously to lose weight, but He didnt just do it for me. However, He has been with me all the way and has shown me things in His word that helped me to have the will power to do it.
