What makes you think people have not thought about and discussed these issues before??

My husband feels the same way. For us, race is not a factor. That's what love is. Being a Christian is a wonderful thing. God is able to get us through all kinds of difficulties. We wouldn't love a child of a different race any more or less, even by rape.

My husband and I did discuss it although "race" was not brought up since that was not the original question. Our answer would remain the same. We believe there is one "race", human. If other people can't understand that, that is their problem to deal with.

I don't believe either of you.... for two reasons one is both your names including Brices ( and others) showed up on a list of those who are troublmakers in general and who want me gone.

Two if what you say is true you are of the 1% who would have husbands who would even " CONSIDER " keeping a child who was a product of rape....much less he would ever have sex with you again. Double wammy....and to add a third wammy that that child is of a different race. Sorry but statistics would prove you wrong. I now it sounds good though.

No one said OTHER people can't deal with it...the fact is you and your husband and other children would have a very hard time dealing with it....that is the reprocutions of sin...not your sin persay but the sin of rape.

I didn't ask you to believe me. I know where we stand on this issue.

My whole point in all this is you will NEVER know how you will stand till you actually have to. No one can be dogmatic and say what they would do in a situation like this. If you do you are just kidding yourselves. That is a fact not an opinion...I know I deal with girls all the time in pregnancy crises and they don't even know what they are going to do for months. ( and they are just pregnant from boyfriends) Everyones pat answers sound good but not reality. I honestly said i wouldn't know what we would do.

And you don't know what reality some here have been through. So I don't need to be told what you think we would do. We KNOW what we would do.

What?? What list of troublemakers is this and where did it come from? It's funny how I get along with most people on this board and have since I came here.

Seriously, I can care less if you believe me.

    WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is off topic isn't it???????

What list of trouble makers are you talking about? I haven't seen that list. Please give a link. If you can't show a link of a list of trouble makers then you must appologize for your false accusations, it would eb the christian thing to do when falsely accusing people with no proof of the accusations being made.

Husbands who do not want sex with their wives after a rape are not true husbands at all, rejecting their wives becasue of a violent criminal act against them!! Hogwash. I knw several women who've been raped and their husbands had no problem with loving their wives after rape, seems you hang out with the wrong people. Get with some real christians.
Who cares about statics when people tell you about themselves personally? They are talking about themselves, not stastics of other women and other husbands. I would imagine that they have good christian husbands who would not reject them and stop loving them if a crime was commited agaisnt them.
Just what kind of man does it take to turn against his wife because someone violently attacks them?
    Not a very good one.

(WARNING, this web site is graphic in discussing rape)

Some web site I read said only 1% of rapes result in pregancy.

You've only posted 200 times, and already there's a "list"? Such paranoia.
If someone says that to use that same line of thinking when considering a nonelective abortion, would you give them the same courtesy? Likely not.

I would think there might be something seriously wrong with someone who accumulates a 'list' of enemies after only 200 posts.
But some people reveal themselves much quicker then others apparently.

G2G, race wasn't an issue until you yourself brought it up. It is that subtopic that is being addressed. By bringing up the race issue and making it a factor in adopting a baby, and then by saying "you will never know how you will stand till you actually have to", you're backpeddling your position, because you know it's not defendable. At least own up to the rightous criticism levied upon that position and acknowlege the flaw that such a position contains.

Glory, you are not talking to young girls here who do not know what to do in a crisis.

We are TOTALLY dogmatic. Who are you to judge our hearts? There is absolutely NO QUESTION what we would do - NONE!

So, where/who pray tell is this list from? Since you brought this up, I think we have a right to know.

Or is this yet more false accusations/stories on your part?

</font>[/QUOTE]She can prove the list and where it came from or admit it is a false accusation.
    Only two choices.
