Spain by a goal, though how many are scored is up for debate.

Then again, if Spain's D leaks like a sieve as it did against The Netherlands, all bets are off.

I wonder about their mental state. They are a team not tested by crisis.

If Spain doesn't wake up, their World Cup is over. First ten minutes of the second half don't give much hope for them making any kind of recovery.

I see you read the Chilean's iPad, too.

    Bad defense. Bad, bad defense.

How does a World Cup goalkeeper punch a ball back into the attack? That's exactly what Iker Casillas did to set up Chile's second goal. Any U10 'keeper knows you punch the ball wide.

    All in all, Spain stunk.

I really wanted to watch the whole of Chile vs Spain, but ended up having to take care of some things. My soccer girl (playing since she was four!) enjoyed it. Do you know if anywhere is doing replays yet? I looked online and couldn't figure it out. I'd still like to see it.

    Half time. Mexico/Croatia at 0-0.

    Finally sat down to watch.

    Picks, if anyone's watching?

Brazil shouldn't have won that match. They looked lethargic. Slow to the ball, no creation in space, slack on defense. If it wasn't for Chile playing for the shoot-out throughout extra time, they'd have lost.

Brazil plays like that in the next round, they will lose.
