I am convinced that today we do not worship in our churches.

    What is real worship today?

In a lot of churches, it is taken as that part of the service where songs are performed/sung. I believe though that every element of a worship service can and should be "worship." (Even offering time)

    I agree.

The total focus is to be on the one being worshipped.

Today we spend most of our preaching time and prayer time on issues that can best be described as human focus. Most sermons are good discipleship, but not worship. Most prayer does not follow Jesus' example but focuses on our perceived needs.

I heard a Godly preacher say, "Worship is God in me on the thrown, calling out to God in Heaven on the thrown." I liked it, and have found it to be true. Let God get "YOU", and you will worship Him.

Deut. 26 teaches us that we are to prepair to worship. Oh yes, if you are a God robber you don't worship.
