If I ever do, my band will sound like Sebastian's Under the Sea Band. We might even look like that.

I almost suggested I do a Molly Shannon sniff, but I wasn't sure if anyone would know what I was talking about. LOL!

    Under The Heading Of Heresy

Personally,I think they ought to ban Calvinists,Hyper-Dispensationalists,Ammillenialists,and Post-Millenialists and Textual Critics that believe in Dynamic Equivalency as a valid form of translation as heretics who cause division in the body of Christ........but who am I but a lowly Bible Believer...and a layman at that!

    Just my humble opinion:smilewinkgrin: :saint:

Oh Yeah...I must be balanced in my banning

I almost forgot...while we're dealing death-blows on the heretics ,we better ban the Armenians as well. I do seriously believe that today's "easy-believism" type of so-called evangelism has damned more souls to hell than all the other heresies I listed in my previous post combined. This 1-2-3 pray a prayer and now you're saved business is directly out of hell. Salvation IS by Grace...through faith...and biblical faith comes from hearing the Word of God preached and taught and coming to an understanding that the Bible IS God's Word and Jesus IS the Way,the Truth, and the Life, knowing that you ARE a sinner, guilty before God and in need of a Saviour, agreeing with God about that and in faith (from the Word of God and BY the Holy Spirit) trusting Christ as Saviour. It's called Discipleship and it is becoming a lost art today....I admit I am guilty of much failure in this area myself. Forget everything else....that IS the way to God and an eternal home in Heaven in His presense........and today would be a great day to hear that trump and a call saying "Come up hither!" Amen?

    Ah....Well.....

Those are all teachings...or CONTAIN elements of teachings that I personally hold as false.....and yes,in some cases heretical by definition. The Word of God must always be "rightly divided" and interpreted "in context". I NEVER joke or jest about such things. There is either "truth" or "error". The two do not abide well together. Dale,I am what I am and willingly declare that openly when asked but I don't choose to engage in argument about it as many on here do. I just pray that God will show me (and others) the truth(s) He wants us to know for His glory and purpose.....not ours. For the record,I could NEVER be a Calvinist, and Armenian,a hyper-dispensationalist,a baptist-brider,an Ammillenialist,a Post-millenialist,a "textual critic"(a particularly dangerous occupation since it presumes that ANY man is smart enough to pass judgement on what is or isn't the Word of God).I further believe that the translating "tool" known as "dynamic equivalency" is a tool of the devil to butcher the Word(s) of God in our generation.

You,of course, are free to believe as you will to the contrary or not but we will all give an account at the Judgement Seat of Christ (while the 7 year tribulation is IN PROGRESS......of course)

Mr. Perry, by the time you're through, you'll be talking to yourself, because you will have banned everyone else. :saint:

I think we should ban all those who adopt anti-jonesism, and the even more dangerous (because of their subtlety) advocates of hyper-jonesism. Their error is self-evident in my opinion.

    You May Be Right

Bro.Bell.....You may be exactly right:laugh: (but at least the world of the BB knows where I stand!),which is probably the best reason I wouldn't like being the one or one's who make those decisions (and they probably wouldn't offer me the job). By the same token, if they let me make decisions then today, large portions of Iran,Iraq, and Afghanistan would be smoking holes suitable ONLY for use as parking lots and Obama would NOT be inaugurated tomorrow.....either Chuck Baldwin or Dr.Ron Paul would......but that is another discussion!

    Prayerfully yours,

Does banned mean that we now have a ban placed about our heads as the mark of the beast?

Perhaps we should include those who would have a nebulous rapture happen in the middle of a so-called 7 year period of tribulation...... Isn't 7 the number of perfection and one would dare to have a less than perfect rapture?

I am confused...........Oh, and yes, I can't sing at all, but I sure can hum.

    Cheers,

    Jim

Why do you want to ban them?

Do you say the same thing about, oh- I don't know, say Georgians?

Since when does geography or ethnicity have anything to do with "dealing death-blows on the heretics?"

Very democratic. The computer forum I help run is very seldom that diplomatic. the rules are cut and dried for the most part. We try to be lenient, but for some it is just best to show them the door.
