I think that this potus could get America back on the right direction by developing and implementing a jobs training program. We have so many individuals that have dropped out of the employment pool, due to inability to find gainful employment based on a lack of experience. Most jobs lost to the recession no longer exist, meaning those sitting on the outside looking in would benefit from training for a new field of employment.

So what do you think about restarting CETA, or something like it. Most unemployable adults could learn skills in computers, food preparation, trucking, etc.

Not until we have a president that cares more about creating jobs than he does his ideology.

This president has continually, time after time, created programs that kill jobs.

The biggest example is , of course, obamacare. Others include his war on coal using the EPA as his frontal assault team. all kinds of anti business proposals and rules. Stalling the Keystone Pipeline even though it passed an environmental test with flying colors. the latest is a the election year favorite of again uselessly raising the minimum wage.

No, we need no additional government programs.

It is uncertain if Russia plans to invade the Baltic States. The stock market froze over this issue.

We are being invaded by unskilled people pushing wages even lower. No one is getting a raise anymore.

We have the highest corporate taxes in the world and we cannot compete with the rest of the world with that tax burden. It is cheaper to have work done overseas.

The EPA is illegally threatening to shut down coal-fired electric plants in a year. Such action will not only put thousands of people out of work but it will also raise electric bills 80% and threaten to collapse the electric grid.

I am thinking that you mean the Protestant work ethic:

2 Thessalonians 3:10 (KJV) For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.

How about job creation in the 1st place? How bout rebuilding our infrastructure? Right now we are beginning to look like a 3rd world country..... how bout changing that dynamic & employing people to accomplish it....2 birds with one stone thinking process. Geez, this isn't rocket science, its prudent proactive thinking for heaven sakes.

How about we kick out all the illegals and let people without skills do unskilled labor? One of the big problems with the US is that everyone thinks they are smart enough to be unskilled labor and don't want to put in a honest days work.

-AP- U.S. employers in June advertised the most monthly job openings in more than 13 years.

Employers posted 4.67 million jobs in June, up 2.1 percent from May's total of 4.58 million, the Labor Department reported Tuesday. The number of advertised openings was the highest since February 2001, a positive sign that points to a strengthening economy.

The report "provides further confirmation that the US labor market has indeed shifted to a period of stronger growth," said Jeremy Schwartz, an analyst at the bank Credit Suisse.

How do you propose we do this?

I thoroughly agree with you, "Kick out all the illegal's," and while I'm all for it, let me remind you that out in California where I once lived, every time an illegal was about to be deported, thousands of illegal's and liberals would protest in front of the government offices, with signs that say, "Plz Mr. Obama, don't deport my mommy and daddy!" The heart string tug on society is the fact that we are separating parents from children. O f curse I say if the kids want to go, let them go too! However, I've been told that is cold and un Christlike!

So, how do we go about deporting the illegals, and not separate children from parents; and avoid the anger and protests that will certainly take place, and quite possibly end up in riots and looting?

Pump action shotguns and really big dogs and trucks to begin with. Remember these people are illegials....they must not be entitled to anything with that status.

CETA and Affirmative Action are part of the problem; surely not part of the solution. See books regarding Peter Principle.

We need to figure a way to seriously diminish the underground economy which includes illegal drugs. Why get trained and get a job? One can make a lot more money peddling pot.

Raise the national debt, print more money, drop the standard a little more, everything will be O.K.

How about a draft including 4F? A revised WPA could repair our roads and bridges.

"You mean I gotta work to get paid?"

The battle between the haves and havenots continues to rage. We are still suffering from the consequences of slavery and Sam Houston letting Santa Ana go.

    Remember the Alamo.

    Even so, come Lord Jesus.

We have an amazing economy. It keeps trying to rebound regardless of all the obstacles government puts in the way.

All government really has to do is get out of the way.

Well it is unlikely the good Apostle Paul knew about SNAP back in olden times. Of course God knew and the command still stands.

When I was growing up people were ashamed to take stuff from the Federal government, at least where I was raised. Now people expect the Feds to keep them in food, TV and associated equipment, housing, transportation, and Obamaphones. Like the woman said it will come out of Obamma's stash, the taxpayer!
