    Most deaf used ASL with UNSOUND words. Some high-educated deaf have better vocabulary even good English writing - more than average-educated deaf. Unsound words means no words during communication with ASL. For example, I signed "not want" then a deaf person understands what I signed (said), but I gave him a hard word - "reluctant" in writing then a deaf person does not know the meaning of "reluctant." He has to get a dictionary.

    Not totally sure about whether we have such on th' BB, but we can usually, with little effort, find three 'wise guys' on about any thread of much length. :laugh: :laugh:

    Yes, other Ed. We have two Ed's and thus only lack one
    WISE GUY ;)

    (Note the 'guy' in this context could be female. But they
    wouldn't be able to get too preachy.)
