While these students may have struggled to articulate what specific "hope and change" should be implemented, this did not lessen their zeal. They had been captured -- not by a party or platform -- but by a person. First Hillary Clinton and then John McCain lost close state races because a new leader, Barack Obama, had captured a young generation.

Kind of like many older people were captured by a peson, Palin.

I am glad the young people became interested enough to really participate. Perhaps it will carry over into the rest of their lives and they will be active, good citizens. They are the coming generation. My guess is I will not agree with them on many issues ... but that is normal from generation to generation.
