Who is your favorite radio talk show host? Lately I find that I enjoy Michael Savage a great deal. His arrogance can be overbearing at times, but I do enjoy his intelligent and articulate thoughts and ideas and he makes me think and laugh some, too. So, who's yours?

Political: Anyone who is quiet and humble and unassuming and not alarmist, which rules out nearly everyone. Most make me want to vomit....although Rush can be pretty funny.

Other: Mike and Mike is a good choice

Neither of them mince any words.

Dr. Laura is good, and so is David Ramsey, but for money matters I listen to Clark Howard.

Art Bell and George Noory, and the other George on Coast see www.coasttocoastam.com

Savage is occasionally correct but he is maybe the nastiest person on radio. I particularly dislike his mocking of people's names and accents. People are not responsible for the names their parents give them but usually honor their parents. Savage, on the other hand, dishonored his family name by changing his to "Savage." He didn't think he could get rich by maintaining his Jewish name?

Clark Howard is great. You can also find him on CNN's HNN (formerly Headline News). When I'm in Atlanta, I usually listen to Neal Bortz on WSB and enjoy him quite a bit.

LOL...I love Coast to Coast. It's a big crock, but it's hilarious.

I lost all respect for Mike Golic (who's salary I paid for many years as an Eagles' season ticket holder, by the way) when he went on a rant and started trashing the fans. He later apologized, but it was too late. He had already made it very clear what he thinks of us.

    1. Glenn Beck
    2. Pat and Stu
    3. Todd Friel
    4. Jack Spirko
    5. Chris Rosebrough

((technically, #4 and 5 are podcasts, but Rosebrough's show is simulcast on a couple of stations and Jack Spirko routinely appears on different broadcast radio shows))

Also, although he passed away two years ago, I loved Irv Homer. His radio show was fantastic and even though most people haven't heard of him, he's responsible for introducing a lot of topics that we're all aware of now, that we would never have heard about otherwise.
