Your veiw on personal angels and angelic helps

I generated a poll in the poll section concerning angelic encounters but here I would like to ask the readers to respond with their thoughts on angelic encounters in Christendom. Recently I asked my adult Sunday school class (ages 35-70) how many believed they had encountered an angel who helped them in some way. Roughly I would say 90% indicated they had. This response is the fuel behind my current research. I would appreciate your responses and as I told my class your belief in this in no way detracts from our friendship its simply a question for discussion.
