I'm guessing you don't know a whole lot about fighting.

But in your own words, you weren't there, so you don't really know.

Zimmerman looked like he gained 50lb after the event. In those video's and pictures before trial he looks much slimmer.

I wondered the same thing looking at that picture Gina. If he was leaning over Zimmerman and shot inthe chest, blood should have stained the front of the hoodie as well as the back. I see nothing in the picture unless the coloring is just bad.

Have you ever shot a person or anything for that matter? Blood is coming out immediately. We can barely scratch human flesh without blood coming out. But the bullet didn't go out the back. According to the autopsy, it pierced the lung and lodged in the heart. There should have been blood all over the place, at least one would think.

To know this , you would have access to their forensics evidence. So please, do present it so that we can all see why there appears to be no blood.

I still think it might be the lighting, but in the picture it's difficult to tell.

Good piece. Forensics is a fascinating subject. But that piece, all 6:07 of it, didn't once address the issue of the blood not being on the hoody.

It may have been raining, but rain doesn't wash out blood. And it wasn't raining that hard.

Wheteher he's found guilty or not guilty, we'll find out soon enough. TBS, he will stand before THE Judge one morning and he will be rendered as either guilty or innocent there. And that sentence he gets will be correct, whether he's a saint or sinner when He stands before Him.

That could be a whole different topic. :) They have a program out here where graduates can work crime scenes without being officers - evidence and interviews. If I was younger...

My little bunny trail, but that aspect of crime fascinates me. I hate everything else, won't even watch tv or much news because of it because it makes me sick, but go figure - the scenes and autopsies and such, I'm fine with. Guess it's because it's the living that scare me!

The real crime here is that he wouldn't even be charged with a crime if Trayvon had been a White or Hispanic man. The race baiters (i.e. Al Sharpton/Jesse Jackson) of our country have made this into a trial that should have never happened. There was never enough evidence to arrest or try this man. The fact that there is a trail at all is a travesty of justice.

The head investigator on scene the night of the murder disagreed. Sharpton nor Jackson were there when he made his professional assessment.

I don't know that Jackson has been much involved with the case at all up to this point. But White America has a certain opinion about Sharpton and Jackson that plays into the prejudice narrative of this case. It speaks to the feelings of a lot of White people that Blacks and Sharpton/Jackson like to make everything about race. Even though by rejecting their concerns about the racial aspect, Whites in turn make it about race.

Both Jackson and Sharpton called for calm in people's response to a verdict, yet their calls elicited unnecessary comments from Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham. So while Jackson and Sharpton may be referred to as race baiters, do we refer to Hannity and Ingraham and Limbaugh as such?

After all they seem to egg on white America a lot about Blacks and crying racism. And then they'll make it the Presidents fault.

That is not true. The lead detective was pulled off the case when he refused to make an arrest.

Where do you get this info from- seriously? Until the PC demagogues got involved there were no plans to charge GZ.

Chris Serino stated that he wanted to arrest Zimmerman that night for manslaughter.

There are multiple reports from last year where the statement was made. Serino even filed an affidavit on the night that Martin was shot and killed by Zimmerman, that stated he was unconvinced Zimmerman's version of events.

After further research, you are correct. CS wanted to charge GZ with manslaughter. He was over-ruled by his Chief. Then the demagogues got involved and forced the issue.
