Old earth or young earth?
A poster recently said to me that after I was asked how old the earth was and I affirmed a young earth I would lose people and the conversation would stop. Well I don't care as I care only for the truth and the Bible is quite clear that the earth is young and was created in 6 literal 24-hour days.

Contact evangelism vs. Friendship evangelism
When looking closely at the life of Christ & the apostles in the four gospels & Acts there are at least 89 instances of Christ and his associates doing evangelism. 77 took place in the context of contact evangelism. Some notable examples are Matt 5-7, & Matt 9:35. Also when Christ sent out his followers he sent them out as contact evangelists (Mt 10; Lk 10:1-16). Also not to forget his explicit command to preach the gospel to those that they did not already know (Mk 16:15, Acts 1:8). The... -
How did modern worship music turn out to be so bad?
I have been subjected to some horrible worship songs over the years, but the stuff being pumped out in recent years seems to be devoid of any theology.
I went to a local Christian College and the worship leader played a song that literally made me laugh out loud at the emptiness of the song. (I just told the pentacostals in the group that I was struck with holy laughter. [emoji23])
What has happened? Why has church music become empty of theology?
By the way...here's the song I laughed at. -

Bait and switch
The intent if this thread to explore in the Scriptures the techniques God may use, in particular bait and switch, from the unregenerate world perspective.
Generally speaking the term, bait and switch, is viewed as deceitful manipulation. One where the reward is often switched to a lesser value then what the enticement of the bait suggests. But does God use such a tactic?
Is there times in the ministry of Paul, Peter, John ... in which God baited the hook and then switched the reward?... -
When did Job live?
Job 1:1 There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.
Job trivia. The given name Job is mentioned 3 times in the Old Testament outside the book of Job, and once in the New Testament. Uz, as a person's name, is mentioned 4 times in the Old Testament.
Where does Job fit on the timeline of biblical history? -
How would you reach these people?
As I write I am at Denvers PrideFest. There are THOUSANDS of lost souls out here. I have almost passed out 300 million dollar bill gospel tracts and a handful of Cartoon tracts stamped with my contact info. 300 million dollar bills was not enough and I could easily have brought 1000 tracts and passed that many out in a few hours. In a sense the million dollar bill gospel tract will at least present the gospel to a lost people group living in sin that will not hear a open air sermon nor any... -
Did Jesus say John 3:16?
I have heard a theory that even RC Sproul agrees with and that is that Jesus did not dictate John 3:16 and the rest of the chapter but his words end in verse 15. No one knows for sure so what do you say? -

The Sin of the Consumption of Blood
This study explains why it is a sin to eat or drink blood, along with the meat of any animal that still has its blood. The study can be found in English here The Sin of the Consumption of Blood | Wisdom of God or in Spanish here El Pecado de Consumir Sangre | Sabiduria de Dios . Let us begin a discussion on these matters.
