No Fear of God before their Eyes !
Rom 3:18
There is no fear of God before their eyes.
Religious people today do not have fear of God before their eyes, and when I say fear of God, I mean reverence for the Almighty, for they think of God to be like unto themselves. Paul writes of them here 2 Tim 3:5
Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
For instance, they think and believe God can will or desire a thing and then not bring it to pass, for they will say that God wills the... -
Stages of grief
Sometimes it is wondrous to watch one work through pain (physical or emotional) and/or grief (particularly from loss).
Elisabeth Kübler-Ross & David Kessler formulated a five stage or "process" in which some have taken as a model: Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression and Acceptance
These were never meant to be a formula, but more of a way of restatement of what area the grief was manifesting.
Some have modified, added or subdivided the original and so like grief.com have come up... -
The Glorious future for Israel !
What are the Promises that seem to show a Glorious future for National Israel i.e Ezk 37:21-28
Is that really National Israel, the physical descendants of Abraham in view here ?
We shall now observe this promise to Israel in Ezk 37:21-28
1.Its promised that God will gather the children of Israel from among the nations and bring them into their own land vs 21
2. God shall make them one nation vs 22
3. There will be one King over them, that is one Shepherd, David vs 22,24
4. They... -

Who Has A Mental Illness???
Do "some" of you folks realize that souls are being saved in Churches for which we don't agree with? That hold different doctrines and beliefs?
Yeah..., amazing, huh? Yes, our Lord can work where ever He wants to without any assistance from us! That's just mind boggling, isn't it? God Does Not Need Our Assistance! He gets along just fine!
(Upsetting? Just take a couple of aspirin and rest a bit. It will pass)
There are people coming to know the Lord in churches who really... -
Godlical Christians and Biblical Christians of today
1. Godlical Christians are those who hear, learn, and follow things of God (Godhood, salvation and eternal life, spiritual needs, commandments of God, etc.)from God Himself (The Lord Jesus Christ in the realm of His existence) through and by His own means of communication with them.
2. Biblical Christians are those who hear, learn, and follow things of God (Godhood, salvation and eternal life, spiritual needs, commandments of God, etc.)by and through what they read and understand from... -

Fundamental View of Faith
Most Christian fundamentalists would claim to believe in the principle of "faith alone" i.e Grace + faith = Salvation + works.
But what do fundamentalists think faith looks like? First, are fallen natural people able to seek God and trust in Christ, or must they be "given" faith via irresistible grace?
What criteria does God use, according to scripture, to choose to credit a person's faith in Christ as righteousness?
Would the faith be lip service faith, i.e. dead faith, or... -
The Mental Illness/Sin Threads
Can someone bring me up to speed on FAL's contentions? Is FAL saying that being mentally ill is a sin? Taking medication to control the illness is a sin? What's the deal?
I've not been reading the threads and since there are so many of them I would like a Reader's Digest condensed version.
