Are all ua degrees, mills?
I'm not sure what to think after reading some of the posts.
Are all ua degrees diploma mills?
What about Columbia Evangelical Seminary? By reading the board I see that Rhet does some work here. I would like his thoughts.
Are there any more that you wouldn't consider degree mills?
Is there any pride in having a degree that is UA?
I do not have an UA degree. I have three, fully accredited diplomas. With that being said I do not look down on others who hold UA degrees. In fact,... -
Does Saving faith Involve an Act of the Will?
Some say the will is passive in faith, yet God commands us to exercise faith, and reprimands us for have in little or no faith.
Consider the things we are truly passive concerning, such as the natural color of ones skin, whether or not one is born with or without freckles, the natural color of ones eyes or the number or fingers and toes we are born with. Would it be just to reprimand one for these passive issues, or to chide or punish one for them? If not why not?
If we are passive in... -
Young Earth vs. Old Earth
I was looking through my library and noticed I had a book called "The End of Christianity." I have never read it, but looking at amazon it appears to support the old earth theory. This guy makes arguments but I do not agree with him. Can someone mention a book defending young earth? I believe that Ken Ham is young earth, but I do not know. This area of apologetics I am a little lost. Thanks. -

Prominent African-American Southern Baptist Pastor Dwight McKissic is calling for the ouster of SBC mouthpiece Richard Land:

Jesus and the Rapture
Does the fact that Jesus prayed, "I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world," (John 17:15a) militate against the concept of the rapture as I Thessalonians 4 seems to be teaching? -
Which view really exalts man?
If I had a quarter for each time I heard or was told my views on soteriology exalt man, I would be a lot closer to retirement.
I see Christ's atonement appeasing God's wrath against sin, death and the curse, man not perishing for want of payment of sin, but for rejection. Christ is the only one able to pay an infinite penalty against the Father, and He did just that.
The limited atoners believe Christ payed for the sin of the "elect", with the reprobate also making their payment for... -
Salvation Process
How many believe that salvation takes place the minute a person believes what the bible teaches about Jesus and they pray a prayer of faith (ask Him into their heart) or is there something else that has to happen? -
TTU Strengthens SBC Ties

I'm a lifelong Southern Baptist—saved in a Southern Baptist church, grew up in a very strong Southern Baptist church, served nothing but Southern Baptist churches all my life," [new TTU President] Echols told Baptist Press. . . .Tennessee Temple was founded in 1946 by Highland Park Baptist Church in Chattanooga, and the school and church remain closely affiliated today. . . .Eight years ago, then-pastor David Bouler led Highland Park to reestablish its... -
Smashing the "T" out of TULIP
"For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth [will let], until he be taken out of the way. (2Th2:7)
And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: (8)
[Even him], whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, (9)
And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of... -
