Well folks, it's getting very close now, finally the US election....and Americans will have to sit down and carefully study the candidates as they try to decide who will win...

Letterman VS Leno - who will get in the funniest first night insult at whoever the new POTUS is? :wavey:

Yeah ok, I probably should have posted in > humor, but this section might need the lightening-up more :wavey: God bless all, 1 Timothy 2:1-2 either way :)

Are you saying that Leno is predestined?

The difference between Letterman & Leno is that Jay Leno is actually funny. When he makes a joke during his monologue, there's no outward bitterness. I have seen exerpts of Letterman's show where he even gets political with his guests. Letterman just is not a funny guy.

That reminds me of a segment that Leno did during the late 90's. During his monologue he was talking about a TV movie called Noah's Ark. He said, "There's another version that was considered, but didn't make it." During the commercial, you see Bill Clinton dressed up in garb from that time. You hear him say, "God has instructed me to go forth & gather two of every kind." Then you see two of every kind of woman getting on the ark. Two blondes, two brunettes, two black women, & two asian women. He looks toward the sky & then says, "If I haven't done Your will send me a sign." Then you see him running through a field with a lightning bolt chasing him, trying to strike him. I think they called it Clinton's Ark.

    That was funny & creative.
