    I won't be here a week if it's this slow.

    First page I opened today: Took 92 seconds to load.

    Second page: 88 seconds.

    Andrew, bless your heart. I know the upgrade wasn't your idea...but doggone it...why is it so slow?

    I load the page, and I get a blank screen for a minute and a half.

    Frustrating, it is...

    My problem is in posting - it takes forever to type anything cause it pauses every few words.

    I find the BB now operating like the Christianforum.com...I click on a topic and I get a blank page.

    Typing is ok, but it does take forever to get around.

    Must be quite a job to get things oriented. Glad I'm not doing it.

    The same thing happens to me ONLY for the first few pages.
    It is slow loading the home page.
    It is slow loading a forum page
    It is slow loading a thread..

    BUT.. after I get to that thread, it speeds up.
    Actually faster than the old format.
    And as long as I don't close the window BB is in, it works fine.

    So here is what I am doing..
    open bb in a window.
    Open another window to go to Facebook, news, or google.
    come back to bb.. by that time it is loaded...
    Then I just alternate windows until I get to the level that BB is running fast.

    I am sure this will speed up.
    I think the hang up is in the ads loading.. some of the ads are only showing half an ad.

    I am not sure why the slow page load but it is not due to the software upgrade. The whole thing may just be a temporary problem.

    I have not noticed it to be any slower at all. Evidently I am in the minority.

    I really think it has to do with the google ads.. while watching my status bar at the bottom, it get's stuck on a google add..

    Then the cookies that are restricted are google..
    OH.. and one from Roger!!! I don't know what that is.. but his picture is not showing up either.. It's Roger's fault!!! LOL

    I just figured it out.. it is Roger's picture.. seriously.. my browser is blocking it! OH.. ain't that a hoot!
    The web address of the cookie takes me right to a small picture of Roger.

    It might not be the real problem.. but it is on mine.

    edited again...
    I just set my settings to allow this cookie, let's see what happens...
    ROGER.. I am really trusting you!!! ROFL!

    Well, the 'pictures' of tinytim, Jim1999, rbell, and Revmitchell, are all showing up here, but not the one of C4K.

    No problems with it here, other than the big delay when you hit "Post Response". But, then, I have statcounter, google-analytics, and googlesyndication blocked via NoScript.

    I'm having no delay either and just like you, I have all these sites blocked as well.

    Sorry Google (Microsoft too) , no stats for you.
