Federal criminal complaint contends Obama ineligible

    An ex-military officer has raised the stakes in the ongoing dispute over Barack Obama's eligibility to be president, filing a criminal complaint against the "imposter" with the U.S. attorney's office for the Eastern District of Tennessee.

    Retired U.S. Navy officer Walter Francis Fitzpatrick III, who has run a campaign for two decades to uncover and try to correct what he believes are criminal activities within the military, accused the president of "treason."

    In his complaint addressed to Obama via U.S Attorney Russell Dedrick and Assistant U.S. Attorney Edward Schmutzer, Eastern District, Tennessee, Fitzpatrick wrote: "I have observed and extensively recorded invidious attacks by military-political aristocrats against the Constitution for twenty years.

    "Now you have broken in and entered the White House by force of contrivance, concealment, conceit, dissembling, and deceit. Posing as an impostor president and commander in chief you have stripped civilian command and control over the military establishment."

    He cited the deployment of "U.S. Army active duty combat troops into the small civilian community of Samson, Ala.," and said, "We come now to this reckoning. I accuse you and your military-political criminal assistants of TREASON. I name you and your military criminal associates as traitors. Your criminal ascension manifests a clear and present danger. You fundamentally changed our form of government. The Constitution no longer works.

    "I identify you as a foreign born domestic enemy," he wrote.

    The 1975 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis told WND that a short time after his complaint was filed he was visited by two U.S. Secret Service agents, but they left after telling him they perceived no threat to the president in the document.

    Where's the proof Barack Obama was born in the U.S. or that he fulfills the "natural-born American" clause in the Constitution? If you still want to see it, join some 350,000 others and sign up now!

    Officials with the Knoxville office of the Secret Service told WND the only person who could release information to the media was on vacation and they would not comment on the issue.

    Likewise, officials with the U.S. attorney's office declined to respond to a WND request for a comment.

    Fitzpatrick told WND the U.S. Justice Department needs to look into the issue.

    WND reported this week that officials at the Justice Department, along with those at the Supreme Court, confirmed that documentation in a case challenging Obama's eligibility had arrived and was scheduled for an evaluation.

    I assure everyone that I am no big fan of many, if not most, of the policies being advocated by President Barack Obama.

    As strange as it seems, there are obviously more ways than one, to beat a dead horse!

    With all respect to everyone, I suggest the same amount of time and energy expended and devoted to this could be put to far better use locally, by finding, building up, and supporting, and working for the election of candidates for the Senate and the House of Representatives, who will oppose those who support and/or supported the policies of the President, and vote to reverse the bankrupting fiscal and social policies of the current Administration, in the 2010 Elections, especially in the areas where there is marginal support for these supporting Senators and Representatives, or candidates for these offices.

    IOW, let's work to "veto" the effectively current "veto-proof" House and Senate!

    That Horse is now dead, and several times over at that!

    Get over it!

    The more time expended on this, is less time to do something that is actually constructive.

    It's past time to finally bury that horse once and for all, and let's move on and do something about the problem, if indeed, as I believe, there is a problem. :(

    I posted the same article, (great minds, ya know) but noticed you posted it about 2-3 minutes before I did, so deleted mine.

    Wow. It may be a dead horse, but at least there are people who care who have served this country well and aren't afraid to put their lives and wellbeing on the line, just like our forefathers. I admire tenacity when it is applied for standing up for principles and deeply held beliefs such as these. I admire their courage. These are the patriots of the highest order, those with the same blood coursing through their veins as those who fought, bled, and died and sometimes lost all to found this nation. These are the same stripe of patriots and warriors who fought at Bastogne, or kept on fighting at the beaches of Normandy, or taking the same stupid hill over and over in Nam. And who bravely patrol the streets of Baghdad. I thank them.

    It has nothing to do with standing for the country, but for undermining it because their boy lost. The crybaby party of America...the New GOP!

    Anybody can file a criminal complaint. The trick is having proof and getting an indictment. There were also lawsuits brought against McCain's citizenship both in 2000 and 2008 but none went to court.

    Why doesn't the POTUS put a stop to all of the speculation and produce a birth certificate? Even if he was born in Kenya he was naturally born to an American citizen. The only reason I can think of that he will not show documented proof of birth is if it is possible that he was not born to his mother. When she married his father she adopted him.

    For what other reason could he be running from this issue?

    Maybe his was a space alien embryo implanted in his mother. Let him prove otherwise. Why wouldn't he if it isn't true?

    I didn't run for president. My original BC is tattered and bears the original official embossed seal, is not a photocopy, and has never been photoshopped.
