All Christians have been baptized with the Holy Spirit

    If a person has not been baptized with the Holy Spirit then that person is not a member of the body of Christ. It is this baptism that places a person into the New Testament church.
    According to Acts 10:45 and Acts 11:16 to have the Holy Spirit poured (ekxew) on a person and to be baptized with the Holy Spirit is the same thing.
    pouring (Acts 10:45) = baptism (Acts 11:16)
    Paul tells us in Titus 3:6 that all who are Christians have had the Holy Spirit "poured" (ekxew) on them. Thus since all Christians have had the Holy Spirit poured on them this necessitates that all who are Christians have been baptized with the Holy Spirit.

    Lord willing I will address in a later thread how baptism with the Holy Spirit is the "one baptism" Paul is referring to in Ephesians 4:5 (cf. Romans 6:3; Galatinas 3:27 and Colossians 2:12).

    So are we baptised...

    1. "In the Holy Spirit"?
    2. "With the Holy Spirit"?
    3. "By the Holy Spirit"?

    The Bible uses all these terms. Are they synonomous and if they are and you believe in verbal and plenery inspiration then why do you think the Holy Spirit inspired the writers to use those different prepositions?

    If you can do this, you're needed down in the Other Christian Denominations threads where some aggressive Church of Christ people are posting to support baptismal regeneration! Most people here will already agree with you, but in that forum, this kind of info and ability to dialogue on this is needed.

    "For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink." 1 Corinthians 12:13

    Mark 3:11 and 1 Corinthians 12:13 refer to the same thing - being baptized with the Holy Spirit

    a. Brown: it is by being baptized in the one Spirit, drenched with the one Spirit, that individuals become members of the one body of Christ (1 Cor. 12:13) (NIDNTT 3:701, Spirit).
    b. Danker: Citing 1 Corinthians 12:13 (along with John 1:33; Acts 1:5b and Acts 11:16) "of the Holy Spirit" (baptizw, page 165).
    c. Mounce: The verb is elsewhere used to describe the Christian's baptism by the Holy Spirit into the body of Christ (Give to drink "potizw, page 288, citing 1 Corinthians 12:13).
