Did you have anything to do with the Tax Day Tea Party???? Please take the poll. I promise you this is not a "secret 'gotcha' survey" from the CIA, FBI, or Homeland Security. I am simply seeing how many Board Members joined in this day's party to roll back taxes.

    Shalom,

    Pastor Paul :type:

P.S. I participated in a Tea Party event!

Where's the option for, "It's a good idea in theory, but I felt it was a waste of time and didn't go." ??

I'll plan on drinking some tea today even though I prefer soda or sports drinks. However, if there is any effort to throw a true tea party, shouldn't we be throwing something out that is heavily taxed? During the Boston Tea Party, tea was thrown from a ship into the water below. Tobacco is probably the most heavily taxed thing I can think of. In order to legally obtain it though, one would have to buy it & pay the hefty taxes associated with it.

I'm all in favor of protesting tax hikes & taxes in general. If you think about it, you're pay is taxed before you receive it, then after receive it, you pay even more taxes when you buy stuff. There's absolutely no way to avoid this. I am very supportive of these protests, which will get the media's attention. My question is, what good will it do? It won't change Obama's mind & make him lower our taxes. There needs to be more effective method. If I had one, I would have posted it by now.

Actually Obama told Joe the Plumber he wanted to redistribute wealth so people are getting what they voted for.

Not all Polls Have to Have a Point....

It was merely to see how many people on the BB got involved and made their discontent known. I tried to make it fun. There were numerous answers a person could make, and they all were in the spirit of having a little fun while they did it......

You sure made those questions fair OR...

What new Obama taxes? So far I got a tax cut.

Since he didn't make a promise like Bush Sr. (read my lips etc...), if he did raise our taxes I would think he could be forgiven. I forgave Bush Sr.
