Radio talk show host Michael Savage has teamed up with the Thomas More Law Center of Ann Arbor, Mich., to file a lawsuit against Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano.

"It is a civil rights action brought under the First and Fifth Amendments to the United States Constitution, challenging the policy, practice, and custom of the United States Government that targets for disfavored treatment those individuals and groups that are considered to be 'rightwing extremists,'" the complaint announced today said.

The federal agency recently targeted those individuals in its report called "Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment."

This administration has been found to be lairs, do not pay their taxes, legitimacy questioned, and completely ignorant in dealing with foreign dignitaries. And all in the first three months.

Do you agree withe this modified statement as well:

"It is a civil rights action brought under the First and Fifth Amendments to the United States Constitution, challenging the policy, practice, and custom of the United States Government that targets for disfavored treatment those individuals and groups that are considered to be 'liberal extremists.'"

I support both statements. Do you?

Good glad to see you consistent. But I am concerned with the definition of extremist and the litany of views DHS supposes they have.

Anyone who dares question the government and it's unconstitutional practices is an extremist, We learned this under Bush now we're re-learning it under Obama.

    BTW JC,

I noticed that Obama is unwilling to hold Bush accountable for any of his unconstitutional practices. More over he's actually extending and increasing Bush's un-constitutional practices and policies. How can you support Bush's policies now if you didn't support them under Bush?

How anyone can be against one of these puppets and not the other goes beyond my powers of comprehension.

Too bad we had nothing but politicians on the ballot or we could have gotten someone perfect...

I doubt this case goes anywhere since the report clearly said disgruntled vets.

You can bet Michael Savage will be on the DHS hit list now.

Better line up folks, because all of us who speak out against the great obama will be on the DHS hit list. They probably are already working to import our license plate numbers from church parking lots in the DHS database. Advanced google earth, ya know, can zoom right in mighty handy for that.

Yeh, but can they de-code the names?

LadyEagle- They'll take bald eagles off the threatened list, and then arrest all the females.

OldRegular- They'll look for old guys carrying metamusel

poncho- Yikes, they'll have to arrest all hispanics with big hats

Revmitchell- It will take a while, but they'll figure out that there is a pastor named Mitchell out there somewhere

canadyjd- dooh!!! Some people have no imagination. I'm dead meat for sure!

    peace to you:praying:

Savage is fun to listen to at times. Too bad he's a liberal. He's only playing the conservative part for the money. He's a good actor though :).

It will be interesting to see how this goes. I hope Savage wins but the odds are against him.

I can't believe the party of fiscal responsibility and the loyal opponents of waste keep cases like this and his BC on court dockets. Oh well, these are the same folks who bought a million tea bags to dump in a park as a protest to wasteful spending. I see some waste we can get rid of... :BangHead:

    Valid lawsuit.

    Profiling is illegal, donchaknow?

Ask any middle eastern terrorist that wants to blow up a plane who giggles as authorities search a 76 year old grand mother.

Which unconstitutional practices are you referring to? It looks like Bush's legal staff who said torture was acceptable are going to be prosecuted. Guantanamo is going to be closed. The Iraq war is going to be brought to an end. I fully expect the patriot Act to be declared unconstitutional or rescinded by congress. What are you referring to?
