Nope, not talking about Mark Driscol but rather Steven Anderson, who I think used to post here before I was around, not sure.

At any rate, I laughed at a lot of his youtube videos but I must say this is getting really bad here.

Warning, you may not want to play this clip with kids around, even though this is at a "baptist" church.

so sad. Such a bad testimony as well.

Yes, he did used to post here - but he would only start an OP, then refuse to answer and legiment questions put to him.
In fact, I sent him an email, but of course , no resonse.

I did not view the viedo, but I supose nothing would surprise me.

Doesn't matter how correct your message is, if you preach it like that people won't listen. At least I won't....

This is the same guy that preached an entire sermon against Billy Graham, and said Billy was going to Hell.

Probably something to do with his recent trip to jail, after getting caught by drug dogs, and resisting arrest.

Honestly, I think he's very young, very immature, but in a position of authority. It's a dangerous combination. I do pray for him, though, as I do believe he's a brother in Christ - even if he's very, very wrong in his methods and some of his beliefs.

I once heard a story related where a preacher had said that millions of people were going to hell.

His next statement was that most church members didn't really give a "damn" about that!

He then followed that sentence up with "The really sad part is that more church members are probably upset with with the fact that I just said "damn" from the pulpit, than with the fact that millions of people are going to hell.

Personally, I think he had made a good point!

FTR, I haven't seen any video of 'Sanderson', since he went TV hunting with a baseball bat, some time ago, and see little reason to start again now, frankly.

That was nothing. I was expecting some F-bombs or something.

Message to preachers: please keep the politics out of the pulpit. Mixing politics and religion is like mixing you-know-what and ice cream; you won't mess up the you-know-what, but you'll sure mess up the ice cream.

And the sad thing is that most of you are more mad about the fact that I said "you-know-what".

Without commenting on the preachers language I agree with his assessment of Obama and abortion.

Well, I certainly am not a supporter of Obama at all but ranting, screaming and cussing is no way for a pastor to act.

He does more good for the God-hating left than anything.

I'm not sure who this man is but to our sensibilites Paul said some rather crude things as well.

Maybe it was the because of the manner of life from which I was saved but IMO this wasn't so bad.

Plus he gave President Obama a verbal licking.

    I've heard worst.

That's a famous quote by flaming heretic, Tony Campolo and the word wasn't "damn", it was the "F" word.

I have no idea what Dr. Tony Campolo may or may not have said, although I certainly have no reason to doubt you.

However, I heard this story with the use of "damn" long before I ever so much as heard the name of Tony Campolo, so I can assure you that name was not associated with the story when I heard this related initially, more than 30 years ago.

That is what he said for sure.

Judging from some of his theology, him saying "my church" is right because I am not convinced it is the CHurch of Christ.

He even says Charles Spurgeon was not saved.

When politics coincide with moral issues, then we must speak on those things.

Profanity from the pulpit is never good. The way he used the term "hell" was abnoxiously abrasive, yet most people who complain about a preacher using this kind of language will also watch it on their television and say, "Well, that's just Hollywood". They will also allow the actors to portary sexual intercourse and say "Well, that's just Hollywood".

They rarely complain to Hollywood, but they run to shed blood when it's a preacher.
