I see more and more of the homosexual community infiltrating schools, christian date sight E harmony"was sued",and calling our disloyalty to their agenda a HATE CRIME? One recently tried to put Miss California on the spot with a gay agenda question. What about OUR churches? Pastor, congregation prepared for this? I just see some dark clouds on the horizon of our christian freedom and Obamas not helping. Like to here my fellow believers comment on this.

Just preach the Word of God and trust Him to take care of the circumstances under which it is preached.

    AMEN!...

I am commanded to preach the Word of God.

And leave the results up to God.

If he takes me out in a blaze of Glory, or takes me out in a prison.. HE HOLDS MY DESTINY.

    Praise Him...

Preach the word, be instant in season and out...

God is faithful.. Heaven is going to be beautiful!

I believe it is an avenue that may be used to Satan to attempt to undermine the church.

Most churches are incorporated with their states. That makes them corporations of the state and subject to state regulations.

States make laws against "hate-crimes" or "inciting violence" or "discrimination" against homose*uals. Unless you have a provision in the law to exempt churches, they are open to civil lawsuits or criminal prosecutions for violations.

Churches must choose to "conform" to the state guidelines or follow scripture concerning the issue.

There is a great apostacy (falling away) within the "church" as various church groups/denominations discard the truth for peace and safety and turn on their "fundamentalists, right-wing conservative" brothers and sisters.

The true Christian church is subject to ever increasing persecution as Christians are jailed for their beliefs on the pretext of breaking the law.

The anti-Christ comes and sets up a one world religion which only the true Christians will reject and many of them will be killed.

Jesus comes back and ushers in the Kingdom of God.

    peace to you:praying:

I believe it will be a contest as to what destroys this country as it was constituted.

    1. God because of this countries endorsement of the homosexual agenda.

    2. The political correctness that causes this country to close its eyes to the danger of Muslim immigration and the eventual acceptance of Sharia Law.

    3. The invasion from south of the border and the democrat party's ability to garner the vote of these people as well as the blacks.

Amen, brother. That was the attitude of the apostle Paul. I wish that more Christians would have that attitude.

"I wish that more Christians would have that attitude." Jesus talked about things getting worse so I don't think its a bad thing to talk about OUR times as well.

I agree with what Ken said. If we preach the Gospel faithfully and stand up for the word of God, then the homosexuality issue will be addressed.

Now, are there times when we must address it specifically? Yes. It's one of the few sins where the people who practice that sin are lobbying society for the acceptance of that sin, even to the point of redefining marriage, which God has ordained and called a sacred covenant.

The important thing we must also remember is that when we speak out against homosexuality, it should always be done boldly and truthfully, but LOVINGLY.

And it should also be done wisely. When there are people waiting to twist what we say to make it appear that we're proclaiming God's word against homosexuality because we hate homosexuals, we need to remember to choose our words wisely so that they'll be above reproach and will show that we don't preach against homosexuality because we hate homosexuals, but because Christ demonstrated His great love for them in that, while they were yet sinners (just like us), He died in their place.

Several times God judged nations and peoples.
    1. The Children of God marring the Children of Men. (Noah)
    2. Violence in the whole World. (Noah)
    3. Sodomy (Lot & Abraham)
    4. Witchcraft (Israel's Northern Kingdom)
    5. Disobedience to God and idol worship (Judah)
    6. Rejection of Jesus Christ as Messiah. (Scribes and Pharisees of the Sanhedrin)
As it stands our world today has fully committed all the things that God has judged by category in the past. Is it any wonder that His Wrath is going to be so fierce. While I believe that judgment does begin at the house of God I firmly believe that we will be safe from wrath in the arms of my dear Savior, our Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God.

    yup

That's about right....the only thing I would disagree with you is saying that only the "true Christian church" is presently under increasing persecution...I take it you are referring to places like China or Indonesia.

I am reminded of the words of a Chinese Christian who wrote a few books on his experiences being jailed in China....on one of his speaking tours in the US he made a comment which has really stayed with me. He said persecution in China is in the form of the "dragon"...physical persecution. Persecution in America at this time takes the form of the "serpent"...he meant deception. He was amazed at the attacks on the church and within the Body which pertain to various false teachers and prophets. I do not doubt that physical persecution shall affect us here in the US, but I would be very careful of categorizing one group of Christians as being more "true" Christian than another group merely based on what the Lord is allowing to proof their faith.

Other than that, I agree with your statement! Well said.

    1. It couldn't be because of this country's endorsement of personal greed over Jesus' teaching of helping the poor? What is the homosexual "agenda"? According to unbelievers there is a Christian "agenda" but ours is ok eh? We have rights but they don't?

    2. What are you saying? There is no chance of this country adopting Sharia Law. And not every Muslim is a terrorist so I believe they have the right to immigrate legally.

    3. The "invasion" from south of the border? I'll bet there are some people alive today who would say that their ancestors considered your ancestors to be "invading" THEIR land.

I don't support homosexuality but do you suppose you have anyone engaged in adultry in your church? I don't think one is any worse than the other.

"I don't support homosexuality but do you suppose you have anyone engaged in adultery in your church? I don't think one is any worse than the other." Honestly I haven't heard too many adulterers fighting for there political rights to unite and stand out as an ADULTERESS COMMUNITY.

You are right. Both are sins and both need to be preached against. My church would not allow a professing homosexual to become/remain a member and neither would we allow a professing drunk, adulterer, drug user, etc to become/remain a member. In fact, everytime I can recall that my Pastor has preached about homosexuality he has, within the same sermon, made sure that it was clear that adultery was just as bad.

Well, technically God made Adam, Eve, Steve and all the rest of the sinners in this world of which, I believe, you are one of them, no?

So, who are the Jesus haters?

Why does your pastor forget to mention that greed, gluttony, and a whole myriad of other sins are just as bad? Does your church only allow sinless people to become/remain members? If your pastor finds out your sins will you be kicked out? I think when one professes to be a Christian, they are members of Christ's church. HE and HE alone will deal with them.
