KEN KLUKOWSKI: The Democrats’ Witch Hunt Against Justice

It is just one more leaf from the obama How to Build a Socialist State playbook. Watch carefully and you will see his strategy unfolding and becoming clearer. By the time it is recognized, it will be too late.

 

No! Absolutely not!

This is one more move in the leftist goal to convert this Constitutional Republic into a socialist/communist state. This effort started with FDR. They have used crisis after crisis in this country to make quantum leaps toward their goal. Recall the Great Depression, WWII, and the New Deal with a tremendous growth in the Federal Government and Social Security. Then there was the war in Viet Nam, the Great Society of LBJ, and Medicare. Now we have the economic down turn along with the fraudulent outrage by the leftists over the enhanced interrogation of those who would try to destroy us.

Obama is very clever. He appears to be ambivalent about the so-called bi- partisan committee to investigate the actions of those in the Bush Justice Department who gave approval to CIA operatives involved in the interrogation of terrorists. He knows that his lackey in the Justice Department will appoint a special prosecutor and history shows their dictatorial methods to shaft the target of their investigation. It is irrelevant that the democrats in congress knew about these techniques, approved, and encouraged them. They are already lying about their concurrence. Obama also knows that the leftists in Congress will hold perpetual hearings in an attempt to punish the Bush administration for [1] not rolling over in Florida, [2] defeating swift boat Kerry, and [3] keeping the country safe during his tenure, in sharp contrast to the Clinton years.

Obama has terminated the War on Terror and instead we have an Overseas Contingency Operation, whatever that is. One wonders, at least I do, if this person is a closet Mohammedan.

It is also likely that much of the hatred of the leftists in this country for President Bush stems from his unabashed claim that he was a Christian. I confess that his theology was a little weak at times but he had to walk a thin line being president of some who were not Christians.

 

No, there are two parts to this story.

1. I think Obama got his chain pulled about saying what the justice department can or can't do. So the initial sentence isn't fair to Obama, it is Attorney General Holder who will decide any prosecutions or actions against anyone.

2. If a judge did in fact give bad legal advice to the Bush administration, is this a person you support sitting on the bench? So it is not "clearing" the bench as much as it is removing a person who should never have been placed on the bench.

 

Why would America have principles of we can violate them anytime we want or anytime the going gets tough? As far as bi-partisan committee, is there such a thing on the Hill? So this isn't limited to Obama administration, all administrations should receive this same complaint? Right?

 

Even if he doesn't deserve to be on the bench? You still call it a witch hunt? I think that says a lot about you and your sense of right and wrong.

 

The judge supported torture which is not the policy of the United States. His type has no place on the bench.

 

That is the point of the investigation. To see if he was really the one who advised the president that torture is okay.

Unfortunately Rev, abortion is legal in this country so we can't technically crucify Pelosi if it is legal. What the judge advised the president to do is not legal. That is why he is being investigated.

 

Ya got that right... And the GOP don't understand why they are in time out when they support unamerican actions like this. This is not the America the rest of us want. They were an out of control government who felt they could do anything they wanted. We'll, the people met this unamerican attitude at the polls in November and put them on the sidelines. And if they keep up all this noise they will get to enjoy being the minority party with no voice on the Hill.

 

Looks like you and JC and a few others on this Forum are getting the America you want: a bankrupt Fascist state!
