What has Obama done to keep Americans safe?

So now muslim terrorists are going to discontinue their classes on how to cut off heads with a dull knife while the victim screams and gurgles?

 

They were recruiting terrorist before we went to Afganistan and Iraq.... well before Abu Ghraib and Guantánamo Bay. This was only another reason to join.

Till the documents were released all we had for sure were the reports of some who made it out. While we and the world reasoned that those reports were possibly true, we didn't have any idea how much or how bad. Obama could have stopped the interrogations and stopped the detention and classified the investigation with the idea of changing or modifying policy without releasing the evidence to confirm the damning of America by its enemies.

Only time will tell whether it was benefit against terrorism or license for more.

 

I have seen no definitive proof that it was actually a reason to join.

Muslim fanatic terrorists are not motivated by our treatment of them when they are captured. Waterboarding would be considered a very mild form of torture by them. Almost laughable.

They know how to really hurt people and they enjoy doing it.

I can garantee you if I got waterboarded, I wouldn't anymore of that, even though I know I would survive it & wouldn't be permanently injured.

 

How has he done that? I believe that by reconciling the US with its former allies and reducing tensions with our enemies he has reduced the threat of terrorism. The whole world including the UK after Tony Blair left hated Bush America.

What exactly did Bush do on 9/11? Listen to a story about pet goats and fly around in circles? He really showed leadership when we desperately needed it didn't he?

 

Pull our troops home from all overseas posts.

Secure both borders.

Open up trade with now-sanctioned countries.

Death penalty for domestic terrorist attacks on our country.

Get out of the U.N., and let them enforce their own policies.

Drill for our own oil.

Build nuclear power plants.

Those would be a great start. Too bad he's more willing to be friends with the American leftists than to do what is good for the country. He's a lot like Bush.

Anyone with any knowledge of the presidency would realize that their movements are not always controlled by themselves but by the Secret Service whose job it is to protect the president. Now you have learned something today JC. Try to do so each day!

Bush did provide leadership on 9/11, leadership to protect the country as he took an oath to do. That is the opposite of what your idol obama is doing. He is selling our country down the river.

 

Are you serious. obama travels the world like a cur with its tail between its leg, makes obeisance to the guardian of the two holiest sites in Islam and you think that is good.
