    Hey!

Anybody got any Christian podcasts that they can recommend on here?

I'm looking for some stuff to d/l for my Zune (..kinda like an IPod) for my downtime during the day ...

You know .. like a bible study .. or a Podcast of specific sermons .. things of that nature.

Anybody on here download anything like that???

If you're unaware of what a "podcast" is .. please disregard this post ..

There are a couple of them that I like.

    "Fighting For the Faith"
Russell Moore's Bible study (which, despite the name are actually sermons, not Bible studies),
    Al Mohler's "Powerline"
    John MacArthur

Phil Johnson and Paul Washer also have some outstanding sermons available as podcasts.

I listen to a bunch of podcasts during the week. Most of them are sermons. I enjoy being able to get a bunch of different flavors in my homiletical meal. :)

    They include:
    John Piper
Mark Dever (Capital Hill Baptist Church)
    Erwin McManus (Mosaic)
Mark Driscoll (Mars Hill Bible Church)
    John MacArthur
    Rob Bell
    James McDonald
    Several seminary chapel podcasts
    maybe that helps

    cheerio! :)

Awesome - I'll definitely give 'em a listen!

I'm hungry right now to get as much teaching/preaching as I can .. I just really want to grow as a Christian.

I'll definitely give some feedback - thanks again!!!!

Sorry, I know the bible condemns necromancy, and this thread I'm digging up has been dead for a while, but I missed it originally. :tongue3:

I don't listen to regular podcast "shows" per-se except for related to software development and architecture because the technological landscape changes so quickly.

While it doesn't have shows, however, BiblicalTraining is my favorite place for mp3s related to biblical study. I've redeemed my morning commute over the years with these seminary classes that have been recorded there. Wonderful teachers, great topics. Conservative and evangelical, but professors are from many different denominations.

Covenant Seminary - Another great source of seminary classes in mp3 format. Just don't be surprised when you hear they are mostly Presbyterian. Ignore anything related to infant-baptism and sprinkling that is mentioned, and everything else is as conservative and evangelical as you would wish.

    I missed it as well.
I listen to the Dividing Line and the White Horse Inn mostly.

I also listen to the Grace to You Podcast from time to time.

We podcast the sermons from our church as well for that matter and I do actually listen to some of those over again as well.
