Look at the endorsements he lists on his web site. All are from Muslim pacs.

It seems he is hiding behind the lame excuse of "smear".

    Your article says:
    -------------------------------------------------------------------

"It was not a call for violence. It was never any condoning of terrorism or any violent acts," he said.

The word "jihad" has multiple meanings, and can be defined as a holy struggle by a Muslim for a spiritual or political goal.

John Carroll, an attorney running against Omeish in the primary, said his opponent's comments were known by many voters in his district, but neither he nor the two other Democratic candidates had used them against Omeish.

"I was surprised (when I watched the video). He's about as nice a guy as you can meet," said Carroll. "He's really championed health care for the uninsured."

Typical liberal drivel. Based on the history of the Islam religion, their spiritual goal is that all non-muslims must convert or die.

I didn't come up with any of this. I'm quoting from the FOX News article presented at the beginning of this thread. So now you believe that Fox news is liberal?

Fox news has some liberals on board-Rivera, Juan Williams, etc. When all is considered, I believe they are still more conservative than all other channels.

What is missing from your quote is the true source. You quoted FOX News article which contains the quote you posted. However, you did not say that the person being quoted was the Muslim candidate, himself. What do you expect him to say? The truth? You should have given full attribution for the statement. You did not, hence my assertion that what you presented is liberal drivel. The one attribution you gave is from another liberal Democrat.
