We have spent trillions of dollars we do not currently have, we have sold our American soul to the Devil (China) who is riddled with human rights violations that prior to recent times the Dems called for a change in, all in a mythical effort to save banks and the auto industry. The results have been the auto industry has either been sold to foreign companies or going bankrupt anyway. Wasn't that supposed to not happen if we bailed them out?

Unemployment was supposed to be stopped, according to the Obama admin, at 8% and yet it is now 9.4%. Education is supposed to be improved with more money being thrown at it and yet no one is happy with it to this day. Medicaid gets more and more money dumped into it regularly and it still isn't solvent.

So how can anyone insist that we continue down these failed paths?

Georack Bushama's supporters will find a way to legitimize year 9 of the 12 year term.

Or the 1.5 mill or so for a fence around a dry lake. And what about the millions to rebuild a RR station that has been abandoned for 3 decades.

All the signs put up for these wasteful projects that cost about $300 each.

Ahhh! the wonders of a socialist government.

No, we saved them from being liquidated. We always knew they would go bankrupt.

Those claims were made before 4th quater figures were released. 4th quarter numbers turned out to be worse than predicted. IOW, the Republican's left us in worse shape than previously thought. You can't expect miracles from the Democrats who keep having to save the nation after the GOP runs us into depressions...

Sure, I know, the economy is sound... Isn't that how McCain lost the election? He didn't realize how bad things were...

This is untrue and everyone knows it including you.

The Republicans are not the people who created a false bubble in the housing market that crashed and started the ball rolling.

And this has to do with the fact that there has been no recent depression how?

Yes, it is true. If GM and Chrysler had of gone into bankruptcy as they were and without government backing, liquidation was the only solution.

The housing bubble was by far not the only cause of the economic crises. If you believe it was the only cause, I have some land on the moon up for sale.

Denial my good man. The depression or recession doesn't vanish because YOU deny it's existence. McCain tried that and lost the election.

LeBuick, you do not seem to understand that there is a difference between a depression and a recession.

We are not in nor have we been in a depression - not since the 1930's.

Yet another dishonest post. You are trying to conflate terms to avoid correcting yourself. There is a distinct difference between a recession and a depression. I have not denied a recession so drop your false attempt to say otherwise. There has been no depression as you singularly stated.
