Not me, I was there in 64 for my daughter's birth but not 61 - her certificate is like the top one.

Doesn't the state of Hawaii have the final word on what constitutes a valid birth certificate? Haven't they answered this question saying that Obama's is valid? Why does this writer for an internet news web site think he knows more about a valid Hawaii birth certificate than the Hawaii Health dept.?

Only if the "0", or his cronies, say it!

Only question if the speaker has an "R" after his name!

It tells us that Obama was born in Hawaii.

    Faulty logic.

The challenge is to find someone present at Obama's birth.

That no one claims to have been present at his birth is not proof that Obama was born in Hawaii.

Shouldn't the attending doctor, nurses or other staff be able to claim the money?

We don't even know the name of the attending doctor.

If you were the doctor that delivered Obama wouldn't you step forward to claim your place in history?

It is very likely the doctor isn't still alive. Even if he were, do you really expect an elderly doctor to remember the name a baby born fifty years ago, amongst the thousands of babies he could have delivered throughout his career?

I cant speak for 50 years ago, but when I read the obits, I seen familiar names either of high school classmates or their families (40 years ago).

Keep in mind - mom was white, the baby black - not too common in those days - would probably trigger a memory recall. If the Dr is deceased, then I'm sure a relative would be aware of such a birth - again, we tend to mention unusual events to others.

    Too many unanswered questions.

Those were friends. People you spent time with and knew personally. Very different than a doctor delivering a baby and expecting him to know the name fifty years later. This is really grasping at straws.

Think of someone you would have met fifty years ago just for moments amongst your daily work environment and then never saw again. How many of their names can you remember?

Not necessarily - I was in a class of 500 grads - most I did not know - but often a name rings a bell.
As far as the doctor - more than likely it wasn't just a few minutes (ask any woman:eek::confused: )
I'm sure he saw her a number of time - for her pre-natal checkups.

again just too many questions unanswered
But I am not a "birther" just wondering why he wont show his long form? Has BO ever stated he does not have the "Long Form"?
Mind you, I think he was born in Hawaii. But is there something on there that he wants to keep hidden ?
