National Popular Vote Compact

    Would you support the National Popular Vote Compact.

    The concept, is for a State or Commonwealth to give ALL of its electoral votes to the Nation-wide popular vote winner.

    No, that would give big population states much more control of the outcome of an election.

    Those of us in fly-over country like the way our votes are counted.

    New York and California would elect all future presidents. The writers of the Constitution were not ignorant Neanderthal as some would have us believe. They had experienced the despotic reign of Kings and sought to protect us against such terror. Unfortunately we are getting a taste of such reign in "bo".

    That would be NY City; in Calif, LA, SF, Okland.

    In NY, 1/2 of the population is in NYC. Generally, Upstate is Red, while the cities (including Rochester, Buffalo and Syr are blue)

    If you look at a map of the US showing how counties voted you would see that about 90% of the country is red.

    TOtally opposed to the concept. States elect the president, not people.
