I was raised from Baptist mission. My grandfather is a Baptist Pastor. He passed away. After 20 years I came to ministry by leaving my job to do the full time ministry. I have established a ministry and planted 20 village churches. we have trained few evangelists and sent them to the fields.
we are also working with a short term bible school to train the youth to use for local work. two to three days in a month they are gathering for teachings. I am also teaching in 7 out side bible schools as part time teacher, because I have my own ministry.
we are desiring to open a regular bible college to send minimum 20 people to fields in a year. Our country is with more people in other faiths and idol worships. i am requesting all to come and join with us in this great work.
    i am 48 years, married
please guide me and join with me for this work
    God bless you

    Hello Dear Brother!

You make an eloquent appeal in the abstract. What would you have us do in the concrete?

    Please advise.:praying:

    "That is all!"

I'm sure everyone here wishes you the sort of success in your work which glorifies our gracious Lord Jesus.

It seems to me that a school which you hope to establish needs to do several things:

    1. Establish that there is now no school that can do what you wish your school to accomplish. You are aware, I suppose that there are a number of good distance education schools which possibly could meet your needs.

    2. A school needs to have a curriculum.

2.1 What will be the classes taught? For example:
    2.1.1 Books of the Bible?
    2.1.2 Theology of the Bible?
    2.1.3 Non- Christian religions?
    2.1.4 Witnessing & ministry?
2.2 What will be the goals for these classes ?
2.3 How will these goals be accomplished
2.4 What materials will be used?
2.5 How will the goals be measured?

    3. A school needs to have qualified teachers

3.1 What spiritual qualifications are required?
3.2 What academic qualifications are required?

    4. A school needs to have efficient interaction between teachers and students.

    4.1 place
    4.2 time

You should know that there are now websites as Bible.org and Christian Classics Ethereal which can provide you with much material to use in teaching.

I think there even may be some free courses in Christian studies on the web.

You should also know that there probably are schools which might share with you some materials. You might do a google search for "Bible Colleges" and ask these.

You might also consider establishing a teaching site for some distance education school. "My" school, The South African Theological Seminary," has such sites.

Be assured that I will help you in any way I can given my present circumstances , and others here, I'm sure, also will.

Let me suggest you make contact with Solid Rock Theological Seminary, which has their home location in Kerala, India, and which is likewise dedicated to the Biblical training of Nationals.

    You can find them here.

    http://www.srim.cc/index.html

The founder and President of the school (which is officially an independent, non-denominational, educational institution of Solid Rock International Ministries) Dr. Ron. R. Seecharan, who happens to be an ordained Southern Baptist Pastor and Minister, and the Registrar of the Extension Seminary in Trinidad and Guyana, Dr. Birbal Boodram, are both longtime personal friends of mine for 40 years, dating back to our days together in Bible College (where we both happened to be roommates at one time), and I can fully attest to their teachings, and incidentally, I have been with both, in the last year, FTR.

(That is unlikely to happen this year, as I have had some recent back trouble, thus I will not able to make any such trips, this year, it appears.)

I am fairly sure that they would be interested in hearing from you, and perhaps could even offer suggestions to you for training nationals in the nation of India, if asked, or perhaps you might even consider sending your national students to the school, for further training beyond the college level.

Regardless, praying for the best of success for you in these endeavors. :praying:
