To get the economy back on track, will President Barack Obama have to break his pledge not to raise taxes on 95 percent of Americans? In a “This Week” exclusive, Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner told me, "We’re going to have to do what’s necessary.”

The link takes me to another that I am not about to click on as it looks very suspicious. I'll have nothing to do with anything saying it will take me to Facebook and also with a warning. Too much bad stuff out there and I do not trust Facebook, Twiter, etc. to really be secure.

"We're going to have to do what's necessary."

It would be stupid to say otherwise or rule out any option.

BTW, you can google this story, as well. I only got about 12,000 responses.

What was that about conservatives not doing proper research ?

Obama said no taxes on the middle class. Libbies on this board defended that when conservatives said he was lying then. And if I remember correctly we were told we were fear mongering about Candidate Obama's tax policies.

So now we see that 1.) Obama did in fact lie as usual 2.) conservatives understood that implementing all the policies he wanted would require raising taxes on everyone 3.) Conservatives saw right through the the barrage of lies from the left. 4.) Obama will be a one term President

Well, at least Geithner won't be paying any taxes. Why start now?

I find it humorous that a tax cheat will tell us about possible taxes. That's kind of like Barney Frank giving me marriage counseling.

Just a lame excuse not to face the facts.
