Interesting that you should bring this up when the Democrats have control. Our nation would be FAR better off if this had come earlier when the disastrous Bush administration was going about destroying our country.

Aaron, on the surface I agree... and I have promoted the idea of voting out ALL incumbents myself.. but lately, I have been thinking.. (dangerous.. yep.)

I have been watching California (which has term limits) and realizing that part of the problems in California is the lack of experience.

When we vote out incumbents.. we vote out experience. If there was a way to keep experience while voting out the incumbents I would be ALL for it.

PS... there, now you have a Capitalist Pig that responded as well.

I'm not a socialist. I'm a freedom loving American. I'm beginning to wonder just what YOU are. You can't have a conversation without using untrue statements to smear the other person. Is this using our freedom of speech wisely? No.

Tim, I can understand your concerns about experience. However, look at what all the experience we have in Congress now has done for us. The vast experience of KKK Byrd, Dingell, Pelosi, Kennedy, Frank, Specter, et al have done for us.:tear:

Many are, yes. That's why they got their butts kicked last November. I agree with the premise of the cited webpage. Their defeat was punitive. It was not that the population agreed with the Socialists. In fact, many are waking up and seeing just what kind of serpent the Party of Democrats is.

Alas, I hope it's not too late.

Experience at what, speaking at the federal level, stealing from the people? Experience in making massive deficits? Experience at intruding into our lives? Experience at ignoring the Constitution? Experience at keeping abortion alive and well? Experience at not controlling our borders? No thanks. Vote them out, every last one.

Its a matter of perception. We both think Bush is a disaster, but for reasons 180 degrees out. To me, he was a disaster because he was a liberal, big government spender. To you, he was a conservative with disasterous results. It takes a person who thinks there is a difference between Republicans and Democrats to come to your conclusion.
