The Democratic leadership is out of control. That's the only way to put it. Whether it's caused by panic, arrogance, shock, or a combination of those things, the utter contempt for normal American citizens that has been flowing from the lips of these liberal elitists has been downright disgusting. The bitterness was always just a matter of time given the left's fundamental misreading of the 2008 election results.

The truth was that the election of Barack Obama was much more about charisma and image than it ever was about ideology and philosophy. Suffering from Bush fatigue and without any viable alternative, a majority of Americans went to the polls mesmerized by the history-making figure that they saw in Obama...too caught up in the mantra of "hope and change" to pay any attention to those tiny details like what "change" might really mean.

    Conservatives still don't get it . . .

Their belief is NOT that they can run your life better than you can.

Their belief is that your life is theirs to run. They are the masters, you are the slaves.

    Otherwise a very good article.

This is the price this nation is now paying for the inept leadership and false promises of the Bush Administration. The blame for the election of Barack Obama lies right at this door step. He did not do his job. It was really a no win situation. The public was so angry at the antics of the last eight years, they would have voted for a pink llama with green polka dots had it been the Democratic nominee. What this has done is bring us from bad to much worse. More government was not the answer.

I never thought of it this way, but in another thread today, you can trace Reagan's choice of VP directly to the election of BO. Had Bush the First not been VP, he would never have been President, neither would have Bush the Second, therefore, the election of BO.

I understand your point but do not accept it.

Obama is in office because of the votes he received.

Each individual voter that voted for him is responsible personally and will now reap the fruits of their labor.

The sad thing is that in my estimation the Obama voters are the very ones who are counting on the government to make their lives better and will be let down because the government can't do anything for you than you can not do for yourself better.

Yes, I will be inconvienenced by Obama's actions but I don't count on the government to provide for me or my family so to me the actions of the Obama cadre are just another challenge for me to overcome.

Bush did a great job! What are you talking about? He did exactly what was required of him. He played the role of the bad global cop. The next in line (whoever ended up in the WH . . . all the horses in the race are managed by the same people) was supposed to play the good global cop. The only thing that's standing in the way of this major production that's being put on by the global elite is we the people are starting to see through the scam.

This guy doesn't seem to have a problem calling the Democrats Nazi's. Why should he make a big deal if it comes back at him?

He did not call them Nazis. He said that the Democratic Party Platform mirrors the Nazi Party Platform.

So I understand, are the democrats also "normal American's"?

You are using that term inclusively and not exclusively, right?

If inclusive then I agree. American's exercising their constitutional right should not be criticized as long as they are not trampling on others rights. But I also think the leadership on the right could help mediate. They were in the same position when they used reconciliation to cram through the Bush tax cuts.

I disagree with you, many here including me voted for Bush but I was against invading Iraq from day one. I do not take responsibility for invading Iraq just like you don't own all of his policies (assuming you voted for him).

If we are to own everything our elected representatives do then as Christian we should not participate in democracy. There is no party or individual whose entire position or legislative record is without flaw.

Actually it is all about bait and switch... or distraction:

If you can intimidate some who would have voiced opposition to proposals.... you win and they lose.

If you can fill the news with focus on the 'unruly' townhall meetings..... the public loses.... it is thinking about all these people showing up and angry.... not about the issues.

Oh..... and Salty.... I think Aaron was refering to 'their' in the next sentance as not conservative.....ck out quote:
Unfortunately...... we'll have no change as long as people still believe in the 2 party system.... and let the media narrow it down to just these 2 parties... as each has contributed in its own way..... at the hierarchy.... to traveling in the same direction. These goals of enslavement, dependance, transfer of wealth and jobs to other nations.... is the globalist agenda ..... and dedicated people at the top and behind the scenes of both parties are complacent in this goal.

Actually no good cop bad cop here: Bush set up the tools of law which gives government excuses to track us anyway it wishes for any purpose..... as long as there's suspicion.... which is relatively easy to manufacture. Obama is accelerating the agenda with help from the Pelosie House and Senate Sheeples of both parties.... but particularly the Democrat control which is willing to favor party and mastery over the citizens and constitution. Obama knows that a voting majority which elected him is not the majority of citizens who were eligible to vote.... just a majority of those who voted. He knows there's serveral things moving against him and he has a short time to assert himself and seal the international deal before the people stop him.

He has succeeded in securing the bankrupty of the US. Sure, we were on our way with the Bush bailouts.... but now thats a drop in the bucket of whats been happening since.
The unemployment rate isn't down..... it is screwed mathmatics manipulating figures which are well into double digits. Inflation is the same way.... but by manipulating the figures..... they keep the cola's down for those who look for them in their government sponsored retirement check. Banks are being encouraged NOT TO LOAN MONEY by the fed-reserve manipulating and paying them interest on the deposits unloaned.... Our industry has heavy corporate taxes here.... but can 'outsource' by moving to other countrys use cheaper labor and import their goods back here without heavy taxes. If we move out of country..... there are certain conditions which we must meet in order to have our income out of country exempt from income tax. It is all by design with the purpose of reducing us to a place where everything we do is monitored and controlled and removing our property and wealth to other countries.

    Allow me to rephrase:

    Conservatives still don't get it . . .

Liberals don't believe that they can run your life better than you can.

They believe that your life is theirs to run. The liberals are the masters, you are the slaves.

    Otherwise a very good article.

The whole thing is based on the old good cop, bad cop routine. Bush came along and acted "unilaterally" supposedly. Loudly and with much media coverage dissing the UN while giving it more power and control by putting UNESCO back in control of our children's minds behind the scenes and without any corporate media fanfare. He was playing a role pure and simple.

The goal is to strengthen "internationalist" power over us while weakening our power to resist.

Now along comes the "good cop" who goes around talking nice and apologizing to the "international community" for "bad cop's" rude anti-international behavior and pledging to be more "multi-lateral" minded.

His goal is the same but people believe there are two opposing sides when in fact there is only one side with the appearance of opposing sides so as to bamboozle everyone.

This game has been played the same way for decades and it worked perfectly because the people believed there actually were two sides that opposed each other. It has always been an illusion but now because of the massive theft and power grabbing people are begining to wonder if there really are two opposing sides after all. The illusion is starting to give way to reality.

The parasitical elite are like fleas who have been sponsoring this illusion in order to feed on us, the host in safety and quite seclusion. But, they know they cannot maintain the illusion much longer and are right now in the middle of a huge feeding frenzy to gobble up the last remaining morsels of our wealth and independence before we, the host can fully realize we've got a major infestation going on and start dusting ourselves with flea powder.

Doesn't sound quite as far fecthed as it used to does it?

If you voted for GW Bush you are now just realizing the full extent of the results from doing so. He destroyed America.

By the way, all of you who like to say, "Elected officials work for me" and "Public employees work for me," . . . under the rules of the Nuremberg Trials you are responsible for the actions of all your employees.

Actually, I don't believe in calling the Democrats Nazis. I believe that there are Democrats in power that are big time socialists. Calling them socialists is a fair name considering they are wanting to socialize mediciene. The other Democrats are too weak & afarid to stand up to them. To me that's just as bad as supporting their socialist agendas.

If I'm not mistaken, it was Nancy Pelosi (A Democrat) that branded the common, everyday citizens that oppose Obama's healthcare plan as "Nazis" & "Brownshirts". The truth is these people that have been speaking out against the nationalized healthcare are average people. They aren't with any organized group. They definitely aren't Nazis.
