Okay :tonofbricks:...I thought this was pretty cool...that is, until someone just suggested to me that the injured dog was probably in heat...you do the math...

I think it's pretty cool too! Who told you that anyhow? I just saw a similar incident the other day right down the road from our house. I'm not sure if the one dog was a relative of the dog that went to it as they both looked the same, but the point is...dogs really are pretty cool! j

    Cats still rule though. :tongue3:

    Ohh, I know all sorts...

In raising a rare breed for 18 years I've seen behavior from some of males that I wouldn't put it past them to take advantage of that type of situation though.

I beg to differ, I raise Argentine Dogos which are sometimes used for hunting mountain lions; you don't want to know what happens to a cat that tries to make it across my propoerty.

If it's a dangerous cat then kill it!
I knew some nuts who wouldn't kill a mountain lion because she had cubs. However, before they saw the cubs, the cat had killed their housecat and on more than one occasion sat outside their young daughters window staring at her in her bed. The girls couldn't even go outside and play for fear they'd get eaten!

That's just plain stupidity imo. If it's a menace, kill it, whether it's a cat or not.

    They're still beautiful though!
