I'm curious as to what television shows currently in production people are watching, and why.

I totally got sucked into watching "Flash Forward" and "Heroes". I'm also enjoying "Dollhouse". I also love "The Office", and I'm looking forward to the return of "30 Rock".

Once "V" and "Caprica" start airing, I'll probably be thankful I have DVR.

Playoffs, of course (Go Yankees), football

I am also watching Criminal Minds and lots of food related shows: Diners, Drive Ins and Dives, Iron Chef, Top Chef. I watch food shows since I am not eating as much as I used to.

I've been watching this show called "The Unit", and so far it hasn't been too explicit. It's a classic action type show, my kind of thing.

    Rbell nice signature lol

We don't have a TV any more but we do have a large collection of family friendly TV shows on DVD, including Andy Griffith and Red Skelton.

I have to admit, I do "cheat" and watch Burn Notice, Leverage, and Monk. Monk and Leverage are very clean and there isn't really anything objectionable on Burn Notice.

One of the really interesting things about Burn Notice is that it has a real Tom Clancy vibe to it, in the sense that the the "when you're a spy..." monologues are based on real intelligence techniques.

Monk is absolutely funny, and I wish I had time to watch it regularly.

My wife and I are big fans of Monk we've bought all 7 seasons of it. I also like Psych alot. But we like a lot of stuff that are BBC. Like Dr. Who, The Miss Marple Mysteries with Jane Dixon. Poirot with David Duchet. In fact I think we spend more time watching english tv. Hmmmm.
