The following speech on You Tube is making it's rounds. Please tell me it isn't true!

For those who've called me a false prophet, this could be my vindication. Can we stop him? I don't know. Is this Lord Christopher Monckton speaking the truth, or, is he simply an "alarmist" trying to get his 15 minutes of fame?

Shalom [still trying to get to book, but, thinks are happening, much sooner than I thought. Sorry!]

Obama can sign whatever he wants. Signing this will not stop Americans from retaining our sovereignty. America will never put up with this.

    I Agree

It may be "bloody", but, Americans will not put up for this wholesale sellout by Obama, if in fact this guy knows what he is talking about.

I'll join you in prayer for this life changing issue...

A president signing any treaty is meaningless unless 2/3's of the U.S. Senate ratifiy it.

    Exactly.

But King Obama may very well sign it, then institute policies and changes to enforce it without ever getting it ratified. Some won't need congressional approval. As for the others , his acolytes in the Senate, needing only a 50% majority, may approve the changes. Similar to the thoroughly discredited Kyoto protocol.

Our president is a cheap underhanded ideologue, who will lie and cheat to accomplish his goals. He has less regard for the Constitution than any fly that annoys him.

Yeah, it's one of the major problems I have with presidents abusing the use of executive orders.

    We'll see.

He was also going to take his oath on the Koran.

Someone suggest a list of those who need to be . . . can't write that word without getting investigated by the Secret Service. It isn't like all the bad guys are wearing red suits as they did during the first time.

Bill Clinton signed the Kyoto Treaty but it was never ratified by the U.S. Senate. It was never even sent to the U.S. Senate as there was no chance it would receive a 2/3's majority. I think this Copenhagen Treaty, if signed, will meet a similar fate.

Fortunately, there are not 67 senators who will go along with the president on this.

" developing countries will want a representative say in how that money is to be allocated and spent." sounds like "developing" want a say in how much of the wealth of the United States they are entitled to.

Right down the alley of a socialist like Obama's . Whadda ya think? will he sign it if given a chance?

He doesn't need even one of them do a lot of it. He can use the EPA and executive orders, as you have already noted.

Yesterday I would have said yes, but after the big Republican wins, even Obama might stop and reconsider his socialist policies.

I think the next few weeks in politics are going to be exceptionally interesting. I believe many Democrats are going to distance themselves from Obama.

This will be a real test. Will Obama humble himself and come down off his high horse, or will he show continued arrogance for the will of the people?

"Americans" will have no say in some of it. Democrats are already busy trying to pass legislation to institute portions of the proposed treaty...er agreement...since they may never seek ratification, just cram it down our throats.

Is there anybody here naive enough to believe Obama won't sign this "treaty" and try to force us to honor it without Senate approval.
