I think you're all mad. I'm no fan of Obama, but the interview where he slipped and said 'my muslim faith' was simply a slip of the tongue, which he corrected. Have you never mis-spoken? I have and I'm always amazed at the silly things that can come out of my mouth when I'm trying to think ahead of the conversation. I dressed up as a vampire when I was young for halloween... does that make me a wiccan? Nope... it merely means that I dressed up as a vampire. I even have a picture of it that someone could pull out and show to the world.

There's a record of Obama attending a christian-like church, not a mosque. Yes, he speaks often of muslims and says that the US is not a Christian country, because that's what his whole platform is based on... acceptance of ALL... he wants to break away from the stigma of the old Christian Right and embrace liberalism. That doesn't mean that he's a muslim.

To take a snippet of Obama saying 'We will not ever be at war with Islam...' and then cut to a snippet of a jet slamming into the World Trade Center Tower is just wrong! It's not Muslims that are responsible for that terrorist act... it was Al Queda!

With that type of logic, one should be forced to assume that all Catholics should be looked on with suspicion too, because Adolf Hitler was raised a Catholic. How ludicrous.

 

I believe that Obama at the very least has Muslim sympathies. That is one reason he has quit talking about the War on Terror. That is also one reason that he refused to call the slaughter at Fort Hood an act of terror.

 

This has to be the most dishonest piece of right-wing political propaganda I've ever seen. Mr. Obama is not a Muslim. I don't claim to know his heart, but he has often talked about his Christian faith. Whoever put that together is just plain dishonest.

Obama isn't a Christian. I don't know if he is a Muslim or not, but he is certainly not a Christian.

By the way, the so called "Christian like church" he attended preached a message about as hateful as the Muslim religion.

I have never heard anyone ever misspeak by saying "my muslim" faith" whens the last time you heard this in YOUR church?
Who your faith is in is not something people misspeak about,

I agree with a post of yours in another thread about time being short. We as Americans are so focused on material things like restaurants, clothes, money, cars, nonsense TV (reality shows) and the like, our focus on the Lord is superficial at best. This is what got this guy elected in the first place, besides other failed politicians.

We are going to keep on and on, keep arguing about Republicans vs Democrats, and it is going to be too late. Everyone can keep right on laughing about governing by the Constitution and returning our nation to the Lord, but it is not going to happen with everyone not giving more than a little time to our history, government, and civic matters. My guess is that the average person watches more reality shows in one week than does anything about changing our country in ten years. As a nation, if the focus does not move from our materialism to the Lord, and quickly, it is all over. While you are worried about who lost the most weight on TV, the present powers that be are stripping your freedom and liberty daily.
