For a time, we had a Saturday night service that was to be different than the Sunday morning service (more worship, less "stuff" and a different message) but that didn't work out. It ended up being the service that everyone went to who had kids in sports on Sunday morning. It took a lot of resources and there wasn't a lot of attendance so we decided to stop it.

We've been attending this ABC for around 5 years and they've only had special occasion Sunday evening services-have to ask one of the old-timers how long it's been.

Sunday/Wednesday night, plus classes pretty much every night of the week.

I'd go to every one if I could. Sadly, I'm missing this morning's service because my back went out on me and I can't move.

I voted for "Other" because we do have a prayer meeting Wed. night but it's not a service and no pastor leads it.

If attendance was a governing factor, there would be a lot of services cancelled!

Back in the 50's Sunday evening services dropped off as the Ed Sullivan show and western show that followed swallowed up that night.

Oddly enough, there were more men attending Sunday evening services than women. The women stayed home because the kiddies had school the next day.

At the Anglican Church I attend, we started a Bible study class Sunday evening. It has been received quite well.

    Cheers,

    Jim
