After the (pre-trib) Rapture, what will be the role of Muslims of the world?

Since all (born-again) Christians will be gone - the Muslims (as well as all other religions) will have a higher per-cent of the population.
Will they have greater political power in the US. Will radical Muslims slow down their attack against the US, and maybe beef it up against Israel?

This is not so much a theological dissuasion as it is a political/ (future) news event.

Post Rapture Earth will be very interesting?

PS - Please only respond in a Pre-trib Rapture school of thought. If you are post-trib,feel free to start another thread.

Great.. I love using my imagination...

    Let's see,

The rapture happens, the world is thrown into Chaos... Out steps one man.. .probably a man that will be good with words.. able to unite the world, including the Muslims.. .this man will also give away the sovereignty of the USA (from within or destroy it from without)... and the American people will fall head over heels for this man who will be able to bring hope and change to this terrible world. People will be willing to give up Privacy, and their rights in order to restore peace to the world.. ONLY they won't have true peace..

Why, he may even win a prize for his ability to bring peace to the world. Although he doesn't bring it...

I would bet that the Muslims will stop attacking the US.. .because at that point the US will be Muslim territory... The world will then turn on Israel... completely...

    OUR job today:

You might be right, Salty. I do believe that Christians are the reason the USA is friends with Israel and once the Christians are gone, that will allow world leaders to try to destroy them completely.

I've often thought of this country AFTER the rapture, and these liberal yo-yo's (R's, D's, I's, or whatever stripe) that are so convinced that the constitution AND Bible are living documents subject to their whims of change.

Can't you just visualize this nation with the libs (D's R's --) in complete control passing tax after tax, legislation after legislation, shredding the constitution and butchering the Word --- after a few months to a year max, this country will be so flubbed up that nobody will know what freedom is anymore.

Not only that, but nobody will trust anybody, and everybody will be spying on everybody else.

I'm ready for the rapture and letting these egotistical, prideful, dogmatic idiots have the country and just see how long it does takes for complete chaos to reign supreme.

    Tim,

At first I started laughing at your post and by the time I finished I wasn't laughing anymore. Your scenario is all to possible. Our anointed one does seem to loath Christianity and he definitely snuggles up to Islam. hmmmmmmmm:praying:

    O.K.
As always I will be the fly in the ointment.
Who cares what the non-believing muslims care about?
In the end, it will be their families who go through the tribulations. (Unless of course, one of them comes to the Lord.)
    This time WILL come.
The unbelievers WILL go through it.
The muslims, buddists, confusians, the new agers, the wiccans, the oracles, the masons, the catholics, the new seers, and the Dionne Warwick psychic Hot-Liners, and etc......

Has anyone mentioned that the Muslims are already awaiting the arrival of the 12th Imam? That sets the stage entirely, with his arising and their acknowledgement of who he is, they would follow him no matter what, therefore you have one world religion and one world government.

I pay a little bit more attention to the Muslims than I do Catholics, LDS, different cults or the occult.

From what I have read, listened to, and studied; this religion is probably the complete opposite of Christianity. But that's my opinion.

I don't believe there is going to be a pre-trib Rapture as so many evangelicals do. Jesus is coming only one more time - and at that time those who are still alive will be caught up in the air to meet him, then he will judge the living and the dead. There is not going to be a secret Second Coming, nor is there going to be a public Third Coming. Jesus is coming again once, for all. So all speculation about what is going to happen to non-christians is pure fantasy, like the "Left Behind" books. Non-Christians and Christians alike will be judged at the Second Coming.

The pre-trib rapture doctrine was invented about 150 years ago. It is a false teaching that people embrace because it makes them feel good about not having to endure any tribulation period on earth. This false doctrine also promotes the idea that the Jewish people will reinistate animal sacrifice in the Temple, although with the coming of Jesus Christ as the Messiah for all people, Temple sacrifice is no longer commanded by God.

Islam is a perversion of both the Hebrew and Christian Scriptures. Every place where the Scriptures show that one in the line of Christ was the preeminent figure (Issac, Jacob, etc.) Islam will pick the other (Ishmael, etc.).

Surprisingly, they do recognize Jesus (Isa in the Q'ran) as the "supreme prophet". They do not recognize His resurrection, however. Therein lies the problem. If Jesus IS the supreme prophet (He IS!), and what the supreme prophet says is truth, then they need to bow before Jesus as their Lord and Savior, but they, of course, do not.

After that, the story of Islam almost mirrors the story of Mormonism. Both "prophets" (Mohamed and Joseph Smith) received their revelations from "angels" who in both cases told the prophets that every other religion was incorrect and that a "correct" version would be revealed and needed to be followed. Both have led large numbers of people astray from the One True God, and both have done "deeds" that are not in keeping with Christian doctrines. This, then matches up to Paul's warning in 2 Cor 11:14-15:

And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds.

Well, if it happens at the Rapturist explain. Assuming this is true. Then People would be in survival mode competing for the most resources.
Sounds like a nightmare world. People will resort to their baser instincts. A Terrible world to visit surely. As far as Muslims. I don't think they will care too much beyond how to survive
